I come here often for the NFL package, atmosphere and generous beer portions. Unfortunately the food needs work and the service is hit or miss. If the owner is smart he'll remove the MANDATORY AUTOGRAT to incentivize his servers.

Service was a complete joke. Food was cold, late, and missing side items. My fries were special fries that tasted like Catfish, Fried Chicken, and Chicken Tenders. due to being cooked in old grease. Took forever to get water. Asked for Long Islands, was brought Margaritas, TWO times. Mangers “didn’t want to come talk”. Horrible first time experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

Service was HORRIBLE! One server for a section of about 15 tables. Ordered our food in second quarter of Falcons game. By middle of the fourth, still did not have all of our food. Food we did get sucked! Mgr never bothered to come to the table. Server so busy never got water refill. First and last time dining at The Tavern

NEVER again The "pitcher of margaritas" was was nothing more than expensive Kool-Aid in a "pitcher" filled with so much ice you barely got 2 whiskey glasses full of margarita. I ordered nachos Why? Just why?? After waiting for WAY too long, I received stale tortilla chips with less than a quarter cup of chicken topped with what can only be described as the can nacho cheese that you get from the fair COLD and HARD. My husband never even saw the hot wings he ordered. We just had to leave. It was horrible. Needless to say date night was a BUST to say the least.

Wow great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, I'm from out of town and was looking for a good place to go for drinks and wings and must say this is the right spot to go to. This is the first review I have ever done on a product or place and must say I'm highly impressed. Atl don't miss out on a great spot for great food and a great time you will not be disappointed come on out right now you have my word you will have a great time and the food is on point.

The wait staff was Amazing!! The food was okI had the fries and wings and I think it was good. I Was having a bad day and went in for a drinkand the bartender was so sweet. She made my bad turn happier. Food might not be the best but the people are worth the trip.

The food was great! We waited 30 min to order because we arrived when they first opened. The server was nice. Definitely recommend! Happy hour is bomb!!!

Listen I know this place is not one of those hot spots where it's on a popping but it did me just fine. My bestie was in town and wanted to go for some drinks. Initially we were going to the U-Bar. The line was out the door and it's over rated anyway. I chose The Tavern. It was virtually empty however there were a few couples in there all booed up. It was nice and subdued however they did have some music going in the place.
We ordered these frozen drinks and quite frankly we were happy to be out of the house for a change. Yes they could improve on a few things but the drinks and the food did me justice. I have never gotten food so quickly. The wings were good and crispy and the fries are fresh cut fries. Who does that anymore? Nobody. I liked this spot and will definitely return but it doesn't take much to make me happy. This spot is definitely for the low key types.report this review -

Wings and crab legs are great. Pitcher specials and fishbowl drinks are good too. Customer service is not the best and service is not well organized. It is however, one of the best places on this side of town to watch a game, have some fun with karaoke with a great relaxed atmosphere.

This place has really gone downhill. I'm not sure if it's under new management because it was formally known as JR Crickets. The food was horrible and so were the drinks! Not to mention the ladies bathroom was AWFUL and DISGUSTING! 2 stalls for the ladies with only one working. The other one was flooded and full of ladies personal ish! ran out of tissue, locks on the stalls were broken! OMG! I also informed the manager and of course, he said we will take care of it. GO FIGURE! Just NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over $9.00 for a 10 piece and it doesn't come with fries. Go to your local wing spot. You'll get a better deal than here.

My experience here was not and has never been to my satisfaction. I try and patronize local b/o businesses however the concern is no existent. I ordered a Turkey burger with fries and my guest ordered fish nuggets with onion rings. It took 35 min and my fries were cold and my guest never got his onion rings. I was offered fries to go but I insisted the owner take the cost of fries off. For a minute he debated but he pulled through. In the future I would like my meals served as a combo and not alacarte. And it should never be a debate to adjust for a good and frequent paying customer. I will continue to come but only for drinks. I love my ppl but customer service is a skill.
