The Tablespoon is a gourmet bakery and lunch bistro located at 421 Peachtree Street in Ahoskie (right behind Central Ford). This small business, which is unique to the Ahoskie area, is owned and operated by Suzanna Hoggard (Front End Manager & Customer Service Specialist) & Michelle Hite (Kitchen Manager & Certified Pastry Chef). We proudly offer quality artisan breads, pastries, donuts and other specialty foods that cater to a diverse customer base. We also feature quick lunch options which include sandwiches served on our fresh baked breads, homemade soups and fresh salads. Need a cake or any other baked goods for a special occasion or gathering? We can help with that as well! Birthdays, Weddings, Office Parties, Family Gatherings, or whatever your need... we have the cake (or other goodies) for you!
Seating at The TableSpoon is limited, but don't worry! If you're in a hurry for lunch, but want to enjoy any of our tasty treats or lunch options... Just call 252-209-0101 to place your carry-out order in advance!

It's finally here... Lunch time! This week is your last chance to enjoy the grown-up grilled cheese this season! A fan favorite for sure, don't miss out on pairing this delicious sandwich with your choice of soup, small salad, or a side. Soups this week are loaded potato, tomato basil, and french onion. As our special side for the week, we have cheesy cauliflower casserole! Come on by to see us, and don't forget to check out our tasty Sweet Treats in the cases!

Due to the potential severity of approaching storm systems, we are tentatively planning to close at 2 p.m. today. Our goal is to allow enough time for us to get everything shut down and cleaned up for the weekend, while still allowing time for our staff to get home safely. We are doing our best to monitor the storm's closely, and will post any further updates right here on our Facebook page.

It's baaaaack! The Holy Cow! Salad is back as our special for the week. A bed of fresh spring greens top with tender seasoned roast beef, tomato, red onions, carrots, feta cheese, boiled egg, and croutons. Served with balsamic vinaigrette (or another of our dressings if you prefer) and your choice of tea or water. Soups this week are Easter carrot bisque, Southern ham chowder, and french onion. As our special side for the week... Parmesan roasted potatoes are back as well! Come on by to see us, and don't forget to check out our delicious assortment of Easter goodies!

Lunch time has arrived, and this week we have Chicken Parmesan Sliders as our special! 3 Gourmet brioche slider buns filled with tender pulled chicken breast... Tossed in our specially Blended marinara sauce then topped with freshly shaved Parmesan and provolone cheeses. Served with your choice of side and tea or water for only $8.95. Just in case you missed the memo... the fall salad may have retired for the season, but that means THIS is back! The Summer Berry Salad... where the perfect blend of sweet, tart, and savory all come together in a filling vitamin and antioxidant packed meal. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30-3, so pencil in a lunch date and stop on by to savor the flavors! 😍

Lunch time has finally arrived, and the California Chicken flatbread is finally back! Come on by and enjoy our freshly baked flatbread topped with fresh guacamole, grilled chicken, crisp bacon, lightly seared red onions, a blend of four cheeses, and our signature Sriracha Ranch! Soups this week are chicken tortilla, broccoli and cheese, and French onion. As our special side for the week, parmesan roasted potatoes are back as well!
