The Chicken Sandwich was good but next time I will order it without mayo and toasted.

The turkey banh mi wasn't even in a baguette and the ingredients did not meld well at all. :( Did you guys just figured that your typical customers would not know what a real banh mi is like? :|

Waiting in line for Karen Hatfield's salted caramel sticky pecan babka is more than worth it. The tomato-onion tart, buttercup bun and rye chocolate chip cookie are all also delicious.

Warning: If you're in a hurry in the morning DO NOT order the blintzes. They take nearly half an hour to make.

They're serving up gourmet goodness like cheddar-rosemary croissants, dark ale-spiced gingerbreads, and pastrami-short rib-Gruyere sandwiches, all of which you can wash down with Stumptown coffee.

The turkey sandwich is heavenly: thick slices of nicely brined bird layered on dense house-made bread with thin slivers of just-ripe Camembert cheese, arugula and cherry mostarda.

Salted Carmel babka is like a gooey delicious cinnamon roll. Order it now and thank me later. If you order dessert with your meal, they will bring you your dessert first.

Come before they stop serving breakfast, and just order the salted caramel sticky pecan babka and the best breakfast sandwich in LA. Also grab a Stumptown cold brew to wash it down.

Sycamore kitchen lost a customer today when staff member told me I couldn't sit at a table without a number. I've done it multiple times and have seen others do it as well. Is this a written policy?

The brown butter date bundt cakes are amazing! Love the turkey chili with kale, and if you are looking for a sinful treat try the banana dulce de leche cake!

Delicious and trendy, but I wish they would put out a sign telling customers not to snatch tables until after they have ordered! Little seating, but it works with no hoarders.

The new neighborhood concept from culinary couple Karen and Quinn Hatfield. It's OK--go crazy on the pastry. Karen doesn't disappoint!
