Has many beer choices and food choices. Premium tastes Much better than I have ever tasted. I'm not a foody so don't trust me, I'm an easy hit. But nice and cozy inside and great staff. So you can't go wrong there

Best gnocchi I’ve ever had. We each did the 3-course special, which made the cost a bit more reasonable. Each course was an amazing combination of flavors, portion sizes were decent as well. Great wine list and decent beer selection. Would definitely come here again for special occasions.

Casual to fine dining, the best in North Park - French influenced Californian. Great for a date. Get reservations, else ask if you can "sit in the kitchen," - which puts you at a bar where you can watch the cooks do their magic.

Nice service but nothing we ate was good. not even the $60 bottle of wine. For the first time EVER my husband returned his food. He had the duck. I had the pork chop which was bland. Disappointing. Maybe we expected too much since we just returned from France.

The escargot tastes better than it looks. The duck was tender and not gamey. The dish came with sweet potatoes and rapini but it was hard to chew and a different vegetable would have been preferable.

Love the Goat, the food and service is excellent. It is difficult to find a better meal in the city than at the Goat. Short, tight menu, they focus on doing a few dishes extremely well. The restaurant is cozy and right in the fray at 30th and Upas in NP.

For a friend's birthday we came here for the first time and ate everything family style. The elegant farmhouse cuisine was delicate and hearty at the same time.

Appetizers
Fried Octopus - a single, fresh, tender arm (one person could have eaten it alone) perfectly fried with a thin, perfectly even coating of crisp batter.
***** Raclette Au Gratin - delicious cheesy fingerling potatoes - cooked perfectly.
***** Jidori Chicken Liver Pate - although this is on the menu as a side we got it as an appetizer. I love pate, and they make a good one, so if you like pate, definitely give it a try.

Entrees
**** Australian Spring Lamb Loin - Lamb is usually my favorite, and in this case it was everyone else's favorite, but not mine. It was seasoned perfectly, and the accompanying vegetables were perfect - the lamb was just a tad tougher than I feel it should have been, although the flavor was perfect. Admitted, I am typically the pickiest about this particular meat.
***** Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut - Delicious, fresh, and for some reason, the roasted cauliflower on this dish was one of the best components of any of the food we tried. I mean we seriously contemplated asking if we could order it as a stand-alone-side.
***** Handmade Ricotta and English Pea Ravioli - The raviolis were large and tenderly handmade, with just the right amount of sauce.
**** Duck Leg Confit - The duck was cooked perfectly and well-paired

Dessert
**** Creme Brulee - I use creme brulee as my standardized dessert. The consistency was perfect and a perfect layer of crispy burnt sugar on top.
***** Griddled Banana Bread - I love bananas, I love banana bread, yum, yum, yum.
***** Goat Cheese Cheesecake - if you have never had goat cheese cheesecake, this is an excellent one to have as your first. It was perfectly balanced (sometimes the goat cheese can be too pungent or the consistency can be off with this type of cheesecake). I mean seriously, it was perfect.

Good price point for quality French fare. Service was excellent. Did simple things like not fill water every second and left plates until all guests were finished. Most places just grab any plate that looks finished.

Man I am not a "foody". But this was unreal The tastes of everything was amazing Now I'm going to assume everything was cooked in butter and sugar, but the tastes were orgasmic I've eaten at fancy places really to enjoy the ambiance, but the flavors here though It is a cozy place and near bars for the afterward

I've lived in North Park for a while now, and I'm a little embarrassed to say that I hadn't been here or even seen the place until last night! I even asked the waitress how long they had been open. She replied, "6 years" I've lived in North Park for 3 years :-/

As for the restaurant, I enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. When we first walked in for our reservation they were going to seat us near the door, and did change tables for us after I asked. If you ask my wife, this is huge for me! I'm more of a customer service and experience restaurant connoisseur than a foodie. The staff was friendly and helpful with meal suggestions and the food was good too! I had some of their duck that was decent. There cheeses where amazing, pared with wine that my wife thought was excellent!
