Went to Dave & Busters they have there. It was good. A little out of my budget but the food it good. Loads of fun with all the games they have, get the unlimited card and play all night.
Overall good place however, has become more upscale and trendy rather than offering solid savings. Definitely geared towards tourists looking for the cool name brands. Meh.
Nice area with a lot of shops, but it's not really an outlet. The stores make deliberately for locations such as these. You can find properly good deals, but pay attention.
We continued to shop here through the renovations, which were downright eerie! But as things get put back together, It is lovely. Esp enjoy some of the bright, appealing colors, which can be seen outside. New places to eat, but mostly sit-down, which we don't always have time for. Other than the pretzel place, there is nowhere quick to grab a bite. New stores, much welcomed. Prefer going to the mall in Escondido, with its tremendous variety and large food court, but it's too far from me.
They have really done a good job with the renovation. Malls in America are on the decline. However, The Shoppes at Carlsbad is on the rise. The addition of new restaurants has made this the place to be. I went on a Saturday night and the parking lot was packed. The restaurants were full with waits and the movie I saw was sold out. Good job to the new management company of this mall. This was needed.
This post is for Dave and busters. I went on a Saturday, waited in the bar and was never acknowledged by a cocktail waitress or the bar. Then a waiter named Sam asked us if we needed help, so we sat with him. He was well trained on the menu and the play deals. Not only did he give us amazing service, but the food was super good. Because of him I will come back, don't be afraid to request him. It's worth it. Too many people hold food service positions and suck a$$. He saved this place from a bad review. I will visit again. Sundays during the game has awesome food and drink specials.
Like the fact they are remodeling great mall. Go to so relax. Great place to get a back rub!!
Construction is still not done yet. So the mall is half empty and a lit of dust for now. But it seems like they are bringing in some good stores so we are looking forward to that. I'll update my rating when the construction is completed and all the stores open.
Lots more coming after construction is completed. Looking forward to Cheesecake Factory & Yard House. Used to not be the best of malls but things have really changed, with more to come. Regal cinemas is great, way better value than Cinepolis.
I only gave this a 5 star because of the movie theater until the mall is done with it's renovation and brings back new shops it's pretty much dead.
Fish taco plate for what??? That's right, I couldn't believe it neither did he, but we went and did the right thing anyway. After that we saw it all, on the very far corner there was at LEAST 27 different types. We went over because who wouldn't, then proceeded to mock ourselves haha. It was definitely one of the best times I've had with an Armenian. 5 stars for sure. 😀
Great selection of stores, love the food here - Ruby's Diner has a nice cost to portion ratio which is always important to me wherever I go.
There are always deals on clothes here. Pretty sure there's a 50% off sale at Reebok at the time of my review!
I'm not going to judge this place on the fact that it has Construction. I went to this place when I was in the Marine Corps And I loved it then. It wasn't the greatest of malls but it was nice. They get a five stars from me because their construction is to make everything brand new and awesome. They have a really good movie theater, Dave and Buster's, and Laser Tag right now so still a fun place to go. The mall is just about empty but just wait people this place is going to be great again!
