Our server seemed overwhelmed and flustered but I'm a server too so I know sometimes you're having an off day so the service has nothing to do with my rating. The issue was with food. I ordered the bleu Munster burger. It comes with bacon, caramelized onions, burboun glaze, bleu cheese AND Munster cheese. Plus lettuce and tomato. I asked for cheddar instead of bleu and no bacon. Cooked medium. My burger came out with only bleu cheese, lettuce and tomato. No glaze, no onions, no Munster. So I told the server. She apologized. They redid my burger. It came out this time with cheddar and glaze. Still no Munster, still no onions. The bun isn't toasted so it's kind of thick and hard and adds to the dryness of the burger, which leads me to the actual burger. My medium burger was very well done. No pink in sight. Very dry. Very flavorless. I ended up just giving it to my brother in law because I didn't want to send it back again. He had told me these were the best burgers in wilmington, which is why we were there, I love burgers! If this is Wilmingtons best they should be embarrassed. I would never get a burger from here again. I'm not sure if the kitchen staff is new and doesn't know what is supposed to come on the burger but they just need to have a menu in front of them to see. Oh and the cherry on top was I got charged extra for getting cheddar instead of bleu cheese even though I was subbing not adding and I was missing a cheese any way! Disappointed in the whole thing.
Ps my sister is a vegetarian and ordered a veggie burger but they were out. So she ate fries.response / report this review -

The pub competes for the best burgers and mac-n-cheese in town. Jeremy always hosts an entertaining night of trivia on Wednesdays. You can always expect good drink specials and a friendly environment.

Cool Place, Great Location. Wednesday Night Trivia is great, starts at 6.30pm, cool prizes, drink specials, free Ts and stuff from Budweiser

Went on a whim after soccer practice on a Tuesday evening. Wasn't crowded, excellent and friendly service (extra nice to our kids), food was delicious (Pub chick and burger, omg 😋), and cold draft beer. Perfect evening to sit outside. Thanks Pub!

I've been to the Pub 5-6 times for lunch, and the food is good for a pub, but the service and general attitude is completely unacceptable. On a holiday weekend Sunday night, no manager was on duty. Waited for over 10 minutes with a toddler, not greeted at all. After asking for the manager (who wasn't there) we didn't get greeted for another 10 minutes. We ordered and drinks came, but no food. After the table behind us had finished eating and left, we finally left as well, and told them all about it. Nobody even cared except one nice bartender. As a repeat customer, I doubt I'll ever go back!!
