Best home made ice cream, amazing muffins. Historical building, fun inside and outside seating.
Portions for the ice cream Cheat Sheet:
-Buying one scoop is really two physical scoops and you can pick two flavors.
    - Two scoops is really 3 physical scoops.
    - I personally get a baby scoop and even that size allows you to pick two flavors.

I've been visiting this place since I was just a wee kid with my late aunt, and it's been nothing but magic every time since the first. The ice cream here is absolutely amazing! Some of THE best ice cream around the Chicago-land area. Plus, the store has a very homey feel and rather kid friendly.

The ice cream is amazing here. It is a nostalgic place tucked away on a hidden corner in Palos. So many flavors, and the value is good. If the weather is warm at all, expect to wait in a long line. There is limited parking here so that can be an issue too. But worth all the hassle in my opinion. If yippy aren't a fan of crowds they are open year round. Just come when it is cooler or at an off time of day.

Always a pleasure. Workers are nice and friendly. Very accommodating for events. Was just there recently for an event and they hosted that as well kept it open to the public. Prices are very reasonable for the portion size. Highly recommend this place to anyone I know.

Not only is the ice cream delicious and the atmosphere unique, but the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. I am super indecisive and it didn't seem to bother any of them. They helped me make a decision and I LOVED everything that I got! I would definitely go out of my way to come back here again.

Stopped into The Plush Horse today on my way home from Orland Park. This is about as original as it gets as far as ice cream is concerned. The flavors are plentiful and the ice cream is creamy and GOOD! I like that they have a display set up to show you the options you have for cups, cones and waffle bowls. I had Blue Moon in a cup, which I have had before and it was great. They have some picnic tables, Adirondack chairs and benches outside to sit and enjoy your selections. Parking is both across the street and also behind the main building. Fun place for fun flavors and various ice cream treats for kids of ALL ages!!

I love it! They have amazing unique flavors. I always order a small half dark chocolate and half chocolate peanut butter(they fill their cups/cones TO THE MAX so small is pretty big)A small cup is $3.95. The place itself is really cute too! I definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious ice cream!! My go to flavors are chocolate mint and strawberry. Was not disappointed!! If you're visiting the area you MUST GO! I made the 25min drove and would do it everyday if it weren't healthy. Lol. Staff was nice and place was clean. Definitely packed but worth the wait. Line goes quickly. Can't wait to go again!!

Absolutely loved the ice cream! It's 30 miles from our house but the trip is worth it.

Best ice cream ever. Even the adventurous flavors are good. (Play-doh, Redbull & poprocks, Jameson gelato, Sangria Sorbet)

This place is truly a small town Hidden Gem. Food is fresh and Gourmet. The ice cream is homemade and it is something special. I love this place. I travel over an hour just to eat here.

Old fashioned hand-scooped ice cream parlor. Birthday party room upstairs. Outdoor courtyard. Wheelchair accessible. My family has been going there since I was a child.

If you haven't been there, you NEED TO! They have a large selection of ice cream and a few frozen yogurt varieties. It's not a chain so they are very unique to the southwest burbs! The interior has that old fashioned feel to it with it's hardwood floors and walls and seating. The kids will love to see the large white 'plush horse' inside!
