One of the best places in Salt Lake City for late night pizza. Several different classic and new pizza options are available. The ingredients are fresh and staff are nice. It has a nice fun college atmosphere. It’s easy to find seating and wait time for your pizza is not long.
This pizza is so good! One of the best pizzas I have had in my life. The cheese is piled on there, and the sauce is delicious. The Caesar salad is superb, too. The menu is extensive and they modify the pizzas to your need with ease. Quick service for a pizzeria, and the aesthetic of the place is fun. Neon lights everywhere and posters covering the walls. There is a college across the street, so lots of young people too.
Hands-down the best pizza in Salt Lake City. The atmosphere makes it seem like a hole in the wall but that's the point. Make no mistake, though, their pizza is unreal. Try a pull-apart as well and always, ALWAYS get extra ranch. I don't know what they put in it, but their ranch is second to none. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
After hoping here for 20 years, it's always been good. We always bring out of town guests here. This visit we decided to get the mega veggie pizza. So good! Roasted tomatoes, peppers, feta, artichoke hearts, thinly sliced red onions, and probably more veggies. I feared that the crust was gong to be soggy. But in this case, the crust was crisp and the dough was perfect. I will definitely get this next time.
Classic Pizza joint. Pop is over priced not to mention the pizza! Myself and three kids got a pizza and 4 soda pops and it came to about $50 and that's with it. I guess it is a place that people from out of town like to visit and people that used to go to the University of Utah as well as current students. But, the food is really good but does not justify it being so overpriced.
I suggest bringing colorful permanent markers so you can draw on the wall.
Okay, Let's be real. This place, is awesome.
Situated right by the U, it's a hit with the college crowd and also with families.
The food is obviously the big hit, I have NEVER had pizza better than this, this stuff is fantastic, the cheese Oh man the cheese. The cheese is amazing, and the selection of toppings is better than anyone else, especially the meats, so many options.
The drinks, the root beer is fantastic, many different beer choices and all kinds of other options.
Other than pizza, there is many salad options so there really is something for everyone, this place is worth driving hours to get to, and I recommend you do.
And to top it all off, they play actual decent music, alternative with the likes of Pearl Jam and so many others. Try this place you WILL NOT regret it.
The smaller pizzas cook more evenly. Order small ones. The food is good. I watched a customer drop an entire freshly baked pizza on the ground as he was picking it up and they replaced it for free. The mood of the place is very college town. They have the lights dimmed, it's pretty loud, the seating is tight, and there isn't a lot of room. Be prepared for the college student experience. If you are over 40, you may be the oldest person in the room. I will definitely go back again.
The place is very small but it has a really nice environment. I recommend to order some appetizers while you wait for your pizza Because it takes a while. The pizza was huge and really good. The biggest size they have is enough for about 12 to 16 people. One of the things that I don't like from this location is their service. It's really bad. The cashier that took our order didn't even smile or said hello when we got there. Once the pizza is ready they have a window where they put the pizza and call up your name, so you can pick it up. When ours was ready they called up two different names at the same time and one of my friends went to pick up the pizza and he took the wrong one, so one of the guys in the kitchen yelled at my friend: "Hey you! That's not your pizza", my friend turned around and moved out of the way and the same guy yelled one more time: Hey! Where are you going? I have your pizza right here. Just wait right there. Even though
the place is loud we could hear everything the guy said to my friend.
The pizza is top notch. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. Because of this, it can be an extremely crowded place! It's near impossible to find seating for a larger group, so if that's what you're planning, definitely go at an off time. Later at night (maybe after 10pm??), they sell pizza by the slice which is awesome. They also sell by the slice during lunch time. But the absolute best thing and must have at the Pie is the root beer made in house!! It's amazing.
Great food in a unique setting. The our pizzeria gives you the feeling that you're somewhere off the map in a hidden basement eatery. All of our food was amazing Ang the staff were great. Make sure you bring a marker cause they let you write on the walls!
Great pizza and ambiance. Call ahead it can be busy. It is worth the wait. Take out is great as well. A one-of-a-kind pizzeria.
Great place. Love the dimly lit laid back atmosphere. Ordered pizza for 15 people. Pizza was made to perfection and fast. I wanted a Mountain Dew and they were out so got a Coke. 10 min later they came out with a bottle of dew and a cup of ice . Great service
What is not to like! The Pie Pizzeria is my place to visit for pizza. Perfect dough, fresh toppings, tasty sauce, and their CHEESE! Also, I feel that their prices are fair, considering the amazing food that comes out of the kitchen. The environment of this particular location is fun and energetic. The staff are nice, cool, and helpful. Since I had never been here before, they gave me spot on suggestions and call your name loud and clear when your meal is ready. Will visit over and over before I move from Utah.
My favorite place to grab a slice. The place gets a little crowded and noisy on busy nights. Parking can be limited, especially in the back. You may have to use the meter. Presidents circle has meter parking too. Very much a college hang out. Consider trying one of the other Pie locations if you want to bring a big group or family. Although we've brought our small immediate family here with no problems several times. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend The Greek. Everything is good however.
