About Us: The Peppermill has been described as "the quiet place." There is no happy hour, we have no early bird dining specials, and we do not rely on splashy advertising.

What has kept us successful for the past 30 years is the philosophy that if you offer your customers a comfortable dining room, well-prepared food, and fair prices, you don't need gimmicks to keep your dining room full for lunch and dinner.

A Great Dining Experience: Our restaurant has become a suburban classic with a loyal clientele. We even have customers who come in daily and are upset when we close for Thanksgiving! Our traditional menu of seafood, beef, veal, shad roe, oysters, and soft-shells keep our customers always coming back for more.

Since we believe in only serving the freshest food, all daily specials and computerized orders are prepared with the possibility of selling out. Some customers even call in ahead of time to reserve orders. Our system is programmed with an option for what our owner calls "the old way," which means tightly packed like things used to be.
