Loved the Palace except for the price of the food. Very expensive. Easy in and out and has elevators for easy access.

Always good concerts here. I was able to see Seger here for it's last show. Sorry to see it close.

It's unfortunate that The Palace is closing it's doors, as the facility remains the template for which all modern arenas are based off of. Their mid-level suites were something that were entirely unheard of at the time but delivered an experience that all other arenas sought to deliver afterwards. The venue was spacious and high-capacity, making it an amazing concert house in addition to sports venue. The arena was located where on-site parking was possible and the concession/restroom options were clean and well-maintained. Even after 30 years of use, there's still other "modern" arenas that couldn't hold a candle to what The Palace had to offer.

Awesome venue. Other than the initial wait through the front door for security, it went well. First time here and going to miss being able to come back. (Went to Bob Sever Concert)

Great venue for shows and events. Easy to get in and out. The floors are so sticky your shoes want to come off. The seats are dirty and really could use wiping. Otherwise it's a fun place to see a concert or a basketball game.

Great concert last night. Parking on the other hand, it says 15 dollars cars 30 limos on their website. When you get there it is 25 dollars. This is not stated on their website and pretty bad. Hard to justify 25 dollars to park, there was nothing special and same as when they charged 15. Reason why people do not feel too motivated to go to events. Food is outrageously expensive and they really get you with the parking.

Neil Diamond put on a fabulous show. He was truly terrific as always his voice is just as strong and great as it was 40 years ago. However there were no handicap parking spaces and we paid $25 to park. That was very disappointing. It was a nice venue of though the staff inside the panels were very nice people and did their best to accommodate the crowds.

I always had good experiences going to the Palace. It has a very large parking lot with a fair price ($15), a nice infrastructure and always enough staff. Security checks do not take long, there are plenty restaurants including fine dining, craft beer and cocktails. Also inside no matter where you sit you'll have a good view of all the action. Seats are easy to access and toilet is never too far.

Parking is way too expensive and I wasn't very pleased with the parking attendants outside as well. The venue itself is very pretty and it's a shame that this will be the Pistons last season there. Maybe because it's at the very end of its life span, maybe that is why I was given such poor service from not only the parking lot attendants but a couple of the vendors inside as well. It appears that they didn't care about their job or their customers. there was one very friendly older woman who helped me find my seats that redeemed my visit to some extent but I was so disgusted with the poor quality service I got from everybody else that it really put a damper on my experience

I was at the last game the Pistons will play here. I don't know what the future holds for this venue since the Pistons are moving to Detroit (Closer to where I live - which is a plus for me), but the Palace is still beautiful and has been extremely well maintained and updated. I'd hate to see it bulldozed down as it could still be a great concert/event venue - but - business owners tend to do what's best for their organizations and you have to respect that. Thanks for all the years of seeing awesome shows, sporting events, visiting the suites and being invited to the special events held for season ticket holders.

Comfortable seating with great sight lines. I liked the electronic signs that told you which washrooms were the fastest. Didn't get any food, so I'm not sure if there are any can't miss food items.

Easy parking, short walk to the venue from basically anywhere you park (parking is $15 for a car, $20 for a limo (yeah a limo! I never seen that advertised before) and $30 for buses. The Palace looks like it was built last year, even though its 26 years old. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The food and drinks are about par for what a venue would be, but the quality was good. Its a real shame they're going to tear down this beautiful venue because no one wants to buy it after the Pistons move back downtown, so get in a concert or a game ASAP for one of the best venues I've ever been at.
