A Hotel that should not be over looked! One of the Best Inns I have ever stayed in! Cannot explain how much I loved everything about it!

Great staff and amenities. Lovely sitting rooms with fireplace and drinks. Free valet parking. The attached cafe is really good. Unfortunately, the bed was too firm and the room was cold. The heater was over the bed so it heated the center of the bed but not the room well. We were finally able to use the portable heater in the bathroom to heat the room. We were on the bottom floor, so we also got a lot of noise from upstairs and sirens outside. We didn't sleep well even with the included white noise generator. Otherwise, it was a great stay despite the problems and we had a good weekend.

Wonderful hotel that feels like a blend of modernity with history. Rooms are a tad pricey but worth the price. Standard rooms do not have a microwave or refrigerator. However, that was not an issue for me as I only stayed for one night.

We loved staying here! The staff couldn't be friendlier and more accommodating. We came with our dog who was also very welcomed by everyone--which made us that feel that much more 'at home'. The room was spacious with a small living room and kitchen as well as separate bedroom and bathroom. Despite the absolute freezing temperatures of New Years weekend, we had no problems with heat and stayed perfectly cozy. Everything was clean and well kept. The location was fantastic--every restaurant we wanted to go to was within one mile and UVA is right across the road. We will certainly always stay at Oakhurst whenever we are in Charlottesville again!

I love staying at the Oakhurst Inn and eating at the cafe. It truly feels like a retreat. The staff are kind and professional! I wish I could stay longer.

I really want to like it here. Love the atmosphere. Have gone back multiple times, but each time I remember why I questioned it. The service is bad. They just can't seem to become efficient. If it's your coffee coming out after your food or waiting 20 minutes for them to take your credit card, there's always something with the service. The food is often quite good, but today was the last straw--it made me sick. I'm sure people will continue to fill the place and and I'm sure the service woes will continue.

Well-appointed, historic "dorm-style" accommodations with friendly staff and well-stocked common rooms. Close to campus, complimentary valet parking. Good experience.

This is a house converted into a restaurant the staff is friendly, the food was well prepared and made with care I recommend you try this over some of those franchise restaurants it's a touch above and the menu provides many different choices from the normal

    Absolutely loved the Oakhurst!

We stayed here for a wedding and pretty much booked up an entire building. We loved the seating area/library/common spaces on each floor where everyone was able to meet and enjoy snacks together.

The rooms are beautiful and very recently renovated. Only thing I would caution people about is that some rooms are *very* small and tough to maneuver around the bed.

    Thank you so much Oakhurst!

It is a cute little place! It is super close to the hospital and uva grounds. There is a oakhurst cafe close by for amazing coffee and brunch

This is a really cute inn with a homey feeling. The rooms are all inside houses near UVA grounds. Each house has a couple private areas for guests and a public library that guests can hang out and work in. Each library has free coffee, bottled water, and juice. I will definitely come back to stay here whenever I'm on grounds again.

Lovely hotel. Very cosy. My only complaint was that it was kind of loud during the day and as I was there on business, this caused a distraction for me.
