My first time in breck and I was suffering badly from altitude sickness, headaches nausea etc then I saw a leaflet for the O2 lounge at crystal peak and tried it. I had immediate results with the headache abating and nausea going after five visits to the O2 I was able to enjoy the rest of my holiday I will be back
very friendly staff and good deal if you keep your nasal cannula each time you come back. The O2 definitely helped me with headaches, dry/bloody nose and fatigue from the altitude.
I have been coming to Breckenridge for 20 plus years, before I was made aware of the O2 lounge I suffered terribly with headaches lethargy and adjusting to the climate .
Then I was referred to the O2 lounge and my experiences have always been exceptional whether I was in the lounge getting oxygen or when I rented a machine for my condo. The service is impeccable, I and my friends have been treated politely and professionally. I recommend everyone to go there. My headaches and lethargy disappears in no time and I can enjoy my holiday well worth five stars
I was in Breck for a volleyball tournament. After playing several matches, fatigue and altitude got the best of me. I stopped by the O2 Lounge to get some relief from a bad headache and exhaustion. Upon my arrival, I was greeted promptly by two friendly ladies, Sally and Diane. Sally introduced herself as one of the owners, and we discussed the O2 treatment. She was very informative and made me feel very comfortable as this was my first time trying it. She made a nice coffee beverage for me while I waited. The lounge was warm and decorated nicely. I felt at home. After the treatment, I felt invigorated, alert, and my headache began to subside. I'm so happy that I decided to try it. I felt so much better that evening. Thank you O2 lounge. I'll be back again.
This amazing Oxygen Bar was just the ticket for a Florida girl's altitude sickness! I arrived at the oxygen bar on day 3 of my Breckinridge visit, after waking up with headaches and feeling fatigued the previous 2 mornings. Tyler greeted me when I walked in, explained the process, showed me the menu, and set me up with oxygen infused with JOY aromatherapy. I relaxed in the unhurried, comfortable surroundings while I slowly and deeply breathed in the oxygen and sipped on a tasty cool beverage I opted for the 30 minute treatment after Tyler explained that the biggest benefit is achieved after a 30 minute session. He was right! The proof: the next morning I had NO headache and my usual high energy level was back. I found the Oxygen bar to be a gem in the mountains: relaxing, professionally run, and well worth the time and investment. Next time I visit Breck I'll be in there just as soon as I arrive to ensure a great trip without the altitude side effects!
Omg - what a lifesaver!! Got to town and feeling dizzy with a headache. Spent 45 minutes relaxing in the O2lounge and felt 100% better. Tyler took great care of me and was very helpful. Whenever I am dragging I stop in for a quick pick me up and everyone is so kind.
I agree with the majority of the 1-2 star reviews. Every other competitor in the area is 4 stars and above. Just plan ahead and don't resort to renting a machine from here. Guy who rented the machine had zero answers for our questions about how frequent the machine could be used. His only response was to rent multiple machines with no reasoning or facts behind the suggestion. Truly awful experience. Stay clear of this place and go to any competitor in the area, literally.
Enjoy the pleasure of breathing at 9600' ! But seriously it might save you a trip to the hospital seeking relief.
Oxygen tank was sold to customer empty and then called and person was very rude saying no refunds or exchanges, nothing they could do about it, and told me he was too busy to talk over the phone. Very poor customer service. Will not refer guests there anymore.
Oxygen was okay but does not provide wifi and could not find an open network with internet service. Should offer wifi code to customers
Walked in feeling nauseous from altitude. I'm familiar with the feeling, starts with a dull headache and then nausea kicks in. Did 30 minutes of oxygen and my nausea went away and I felt much better. Woke up the next day totally rejuvenated. I have been to Colorado dozens of times and gotten my fair share of altitude sickness but never had it taken away so quickly as what happened here. Definitely recommend if you're feeling the altitude.
I'm not convinced of oxygen bars, but it's a neat experience to joke around during whether it works or not. They give you a nose tube and you can relax up at the bar or in some lounging chair around. I wouldn't buy an oxygen can here through, they are much cheaper just about everywhere else.
