Three levels full of history, you can get audio to guide you for an extra payment but you won't need it. You start in the top floor and walk your way down reading, looking at photos, watching short movies and playing a few interactive games. At the end you'll understand how the mafia formed, worked and finally dissolved; they even tell you what happened to many of the known people of the time.

This is a well done museum a few blocks north from the Fremont Street Experience. A quick walk. If you want to know more about the mob or see some great pieces of history this is an excellent stop. There is some graphic content in the shape of crime scene photos which might not be for the weak at heart.

Lots of reading! Cool facts! There is 3 floors to this building full of displays and info videos. Also a opportunity to see that one way glass looks like from both sides. The staff is very nice as well! I recommend this place but make sure you put a few hours aside to really enjoy it!

Excellent self guided tour museum. Very educational. There is A LOT to read here so take your time. The staff seem well educated in the subject and are very friendly and ready to talk to you. They have the actual bricks reassembled to form the wall from the building that the St. Valentine's Day massacre occurred in. The museum building itself was a courthouse that held mob trials back in the day.

This was an amazing experience. So in depth but fun and informative. I love city histories and this was a great place to learn. Easy walking distance to the Fremont Experience and plenty of parking all over. We were told it's a half hr visit, but we spent nearly 3 hours there and never got bored. So plan at least an afternoon of time if you go. Highly recommended, probably for 12 and older.

There is so much history in that place! The staff was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the mob. The only regret we had was not getting a picture with one of the guides who has his picture on the wall because of his involvement with the Mob! Not a place for young kids and there are very graphic photos of actual crime scenes. Great place to visit for history buffs.

Very interesting and well done. Worth the admission fee. The building, being an old downtown Las Vegas post office and Courthouse, is the perfect location for this Museum. The original court room, where they held some of the mob trials is intact. They show a movie about some of the proceedings and use the latest technology. It's very cool. The Mob Museum is very close to Fremont Street with plenty of parking.

This was fun and educational. We had such a good time even though it was crowded. We will certainly be back again. The building is an old post office 3 stories high and they have really utilized the space efficiently. Had a blast and recommend to anyone.

Lots of videos and readable info. Not heavy on artifacts, but enough to make the experience more memorable. Lots and lots of old pictures. Staff was super friendly. Need to come back next year when the "Speak-easy" opens up. Rumor has it that they'll have some great classic drinks.

The museum was very interesting and told the story of the mob in a well thought out order. The details included the entire USA, not just Las Vegas. There were many interesting exhibits and several interactive ones. There were lots of placards that provide plenty of information, maybe even to the point of being a bit overwhelming. The staff were all very friendly and willing help as well. Towards the end of the exhibits on the second floor there was an exhibit that is pretty graphic so keep this in mind if you or someone you are with is sensitive to blood etc.

The three floor museum easily "exceeded" my expectations for informative exhibit content. Yes, a lot of reading and interesting video clips. The only complaint I have is the $6.00 "Parking fee" that was not displayed outdoor nor on your dash ticket. .... With all the thousands of visitors at $23.95 per person its hard to digest that they can't afford a posted rate parking fee! Tip: use the nearby street parking.

What a great way to spend a half day of our family vacation. Lot's of cool history of Las Vegas and criminal mayhem. Definitely one of the better exhibits in Vegas. I wish I'd have skipped the Shark Reef Aquarium and the Bodies and just don't this. Those are quick and you feel like you got ripped off for your $20+. This you feel like you totally got your money's worth.

Had such a great time at the Mob Museum today! Very informative. Took about 3 hours. Close to Downtown Vegas, so I was able to visit since I am staying on the Strip. Easy access via the Deuce bus.

Enjoyed the experience. But, there is A LOT of information to take in! You can leave and come back on the same day if you keep your wrist band on. Which maybe the route to take doing this. Having the wall from the St. Valentine's Day Massacre was amazing to see. By the time we made it to the last floor, I was burned out with the whole thing. There was a lot of people so some things were less accessible. That may have played a factor with the burnout feeling I got. I do recommend checking it out though. Just be prepared for the adventure.
