The Missing Ink is located at 210 W. Main St. in Washington, North Carolina. Since it's creation, The Missing Ink has wanted to differentiate itself from other tattoo studios by providing an incredibly friendly, welcoming, and laid back atmosphere while still maintaining professionalism.
It is our focus to provide customers with artistic tattooing, whether it is a custom designed piece, freehand artwork, or traditional wall flash. We have have always and will continue to treat our clients with respect and dignity. We maintain our studio with the utmost cleanliness and go beyond the requirements set forth by North Carolina State Law.

Tattoo art and piercings have been around for almost ten millenia. Considered to be one of the most pleasurable of the art forms, it embraces the beauty of the human body and the essence of symbolic art to aid in the uplifting of the spirit and the celebration of aesthetics.
Today, they are used for thousands of reasons ranging from self-expression to self-motivation. It celebrates the human body in it's most aesthetic form. But here's the thing, we don't believe a tattoo or piercing should be something you need to pay ridiculous amounts of money for either and our prices are a reflection of that belief!
We practice the safest procedures possible. We use only sterile, prepackaged needles, which will be opened in front of you and destroyed after using. This ensures that there is never any risk of infection through blood-borne pathogens. Our artists also wear gloves at all times.
To ensure that your design is used exactly the way you want it, we will make a stencil of whatever your approved design is. You may bring your own or we can design it for you based on your requirements. We can also assist with small changes to a design or create a new design just for you!
