  This is a must see adventure when you're in the area. Large caverns with one of a kind rock formations And a boat tour of the Lake Inside the cave. My wife and I did the walking tour Crawl tours are also available. I did not require a jacket but my wife did. We went on the last tour of the day and only had 4 people in our group The other groups throughout the day were a lot larger.

  It is an amazing experience esp coz it has a few of rare sights ( moonshine still etc). The guided tour is great, pitch dark moment will leave you amazed. Boat ride is cool, you don't get wet at all (unless one of your companion decides otherwise). Watch out for a few slippery spots. Sports shoes recommend (ladies avoid heels and wedges). May want to carry water, it gets a bit humid.

  It took my little boy down there to explore. We had a awesome time. He enjoyed every minute of being in those caves. It's probably not a good idea to take a small kid there. A small kid as in 2 or younger. It's all walking and it's mostly wet and a bit muddy. It's about a hour or so tour. It's well worth the money and the drive to me and my little boy. We had a great time and we WILL be going back in the spring for the larger tour. It's close to a 4 hour tour. In some cases your invited to spend the night in the caves. Now that is a awesome experience that your kids will NEVER forget.

  Amazing trip! We decided to randomly make a stop on our way to Pigeon Forge, and I am so glad we decided on The Lost Sea. It's a pretty decent hike, so pack accordingly. It's a nice, cool 58° filled with great sights of formations, crystals, pits and history. The lake itself is quite impressive. Plenty of great photo opportunities. Would recommend to anyone with the ability to hike about 3 miles.

  The Lost Sea is a lot neater than I had expected. Be forewarned: there is a decent amount of walking and lots of steep inclines, so this may not be for everyone. Do not make the assumption (like I did) that you enter into the cave and immediately get on a boat. Seeing the lake is the LAST part of the tour! That being said, it is a really cool place to tour and experience. I would recommend bringing a light jacket with you since it is rather cold in the cave. Also, I would recommend calling ahead to see when the next tour is about to start. The tours are guided and start at specific times.

  Really enjoyed our trip here! Very historical, and an interesting walk.
  
  The Lost Sea was awesome! The water was so crystal clear that it was simply amazing. There were some huge rainbow trout in there as well, that they stock every couple years. With the water being so clear, you could reach out and grab the fish right out of the water (although I would recommend leaving the fish where they are). The fish get fed about 25 times a day, and might mistake a finger/hand for more food (which is why they tell you to keep your hands in the boat when they get near the fish).
  
  There was one room where they let you experience true darkness, that which can be found only in the depths of the earth or water where light cannot penetrate. It was awesome, and a little scary, to not even be able to see your hand in front of your face!
  
  The hike down wasn't hard (since it's all downhill). The hike back up isn't too terrible, especially since they have 3 designated stopping points where people can rest. There were people in our group ranging from young kids to older adults, athletic to overweight, and no one had a hard time climbing back up.
  
  Would definitely recommend visiting this place if you enjoy caves or historical places!

  Let me Begin by saying the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because both the sweet shop and blacksmith were closed during our visit. And since they are part of the (adventure) it was disappointing. The glassblower on the other hand was wonderful our family enjoyed seeing him at work. So with that saidThe cave itself was amazing!!! Our guide Elijah was entertaining and outgoing which made for a very enjoyable trip. I would encourage everyone to wear their walking shoes as the journey back up is a bit of a hike, which don't seem so bad considering the beauty of the cave as you walk. The concession style restaurant for it's limitations is actually pretty good. The wings and burgers are tasty! All in all worth the price!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Lost Sea Adventure. Our tour guide, Courtney, was kind, patient, funny, and knowledgeable. The views were just spectacular! Wear comfortable clothing and shoes because it is a healthy walk and there are some uneven and steep walkways. A light long sleeve shirt might come in handy as an over shirt because it is a little cool. Well worth the trip! Enjoy your visit!

  Our tour guide, Eric, was well informed and explained everything with clarity. He made sure his group was staying together and gave them many breaks to rest. He took very good care of us and made our experience the most enjoyable experience. We felt our safety was just as important as the pleasure in learning about history.
  
  We can definitely recommend visiting The Lost Sea Adventure in Sweetwater, TN.

  Lots of fun! If you have never been in a cave but would like to or you want a family friendly, and kid friendly experience this is definitely a good ticket to buy. It can be educational as well as interesting for nearly any age. If you are one who has panic attacks easily or are afraid of the dark (there are lights everywhere but they do show you total darkness one time during the trip down) then do beware before hand.

  Really fun!!! A good way to spend an hour and a half, learning about both the natural makeup of the cave and the history of the cave. Great tour guides, too. Well worth the $20. I really enjoyed it.

  A great place for the family. A lot to do and see and enjoyable experience for all ages. The tour guides are fun and help make the experience memorable. Helpful note.wear closed toe shoes. Your inside a cave with slippery surfaces walking up hill and down hill.

  This is a great cave and a great tour. You'll spend about 45 minutes or so in this tour. Our guide, Thomas, was great. You could see he had a passion for what he does. The glass bottom boat tour, wasn't what I expect at all. I was disappointed in that. If you want a boat tour cave. Penn's Cave in Centre Hall, PA.
  But wear good shoes and have your camera ready. It's a great place!
