  I am ashamed to say that originally Peggy was not my first phone call when searching for a lawyer. I was notified of a pending emergency child custody court date literally a week before, and was in a major rush to find a lawyer in time. Everyone I called kept beating around the bush, wanting a consultation fee, or even told me that I wasn't important enough for them to take my case. Not Peggy. I called Peggy, expecting an answering machine or an assistant, but I got her direct line. She picked up and we started chatting and she was able to take my case and get all caught up within a few days - and all for a flat rate! I have been so thankful to have her on my side. She is knowledgeable about family law, knowledgeable about child custody cases and Guardian Ad Litems, and will fight like hell for you in court.
  She is always available for questions - and I mean ALWAYS! Even if I send an email to her giving information or asking a question, she gets back to me immediately, and it is something that is greatly appreciated. She doesn't sugar coat or tell you what you think you want to hear, she tells you how it is. Peggy is one of those people who you want to have on your side because she doesn't back down. She is not afraid of opposing lawyers or judges and she will be your biggest supporter even outside the case. I am fully aware that Peggy has many other clients, but she never makes you feel like a burden. She takes your case personally and treats you like you and your family matters. She is the best advocate you could ask for, and at a rate that is affordable.

  Attorney Peggy Raddatz was amazing to work with during my divorce case from start to finish. She is extremely knowledgeable about family law and was able to offer professional, expert advice at every step.   I have a rather normal child custody case that was transferred from a simpler IL county to Cook County, and immediately their system took over and relegated me and my children. The Cook County court system is an appalling place to be if you are required to need them for any judicial assistance for children. What I formerly was able to do myself to request assistance from a court became impossible there. I found Peggy Raddatz, and she immediately took control of my case and most importantly fought for my children. She managed to get my case finally moving forward, managed my expectations and behavior (and once again, if she did what I wanted to do then it would have been much worse), and had a thorough strategy that accomplished what we needed. She’s calm, can organize a large caseload, never forgot me, my children, or my case, and could discuss any of it at a moment’s notice at anytime over the past 18 months. She knew more about my case than I did, and she works extremely well with GALs and court staff. Ultimately, I was choosing an attorney with no help other than from online reviews, and my family is grateful for all of the assistance she has provided.

  I highly recommend Peggy Raddatz as a divorce lawyer. I have been working with Peggy for the past three years in a high conflict divorce, and she has been a lifesaver. Peggy stood up for my best interests, even when it was difficult, and was never afraid to push back against the other side. Her knowledge and experience in family law are top-notch, and she always kept me informed and provided sound advice throughout the process. Even more importantly, Peggy was always there to talk to and get things straight.
