  Super nice comic book store, everyone was super nice and helpful. They have a great selection of stuff and their is no pressure to buy anything. My only issue is they close to early, its hard to their by their early closing time if you have kids and activities.

  The Laughing Ogre is hands down the best comic book store in Columbus. The staff are personable and friendly, the shop is clean and well organized, and they have a great and diverse selection of both new and old comics and collectibles

  The best organized and operated comic shop I have had the pleasure of shopping at. As a parent I noted and appreciated the kid appropriate materials up front and consolidated in one place. The shelves are large and easy to scan. The all-female staff was exeptional and refreshing to see. I have a younger daughter whose growing interest in comics has increasingly led to asking about writers, artists and characters. So it will be nice to show her a shop too.

  Clean everything is visible and stock is rotated.
  Customer service is always offered and staff seems friendly. Downside and I don't own a comic shop but a 5 book minimum for a pull seems a little high for the casual reader.

  The best comic shop in all of the Columbus area. At least that's my opinion. I've been to several others over the years but this one seemed to be the most organized and offer the biggest selection of titles. All the staff are very friendly and are more than happy to help suggest a comic or find a specific comic for you. There is also a large amount of collectibles for sale here too. If you set up comic book pull, where you give a list of comics you want the staff to pull out of public stock and place into a personal bin for you, with at least 10 comics listed on that pull then you can get a 10% off discount on all purchases in the store. However, you have to maintain at least 10 comics on your pull and you have to pick them up on a regular basis, at least once a month at a minimum unless you work with the staff on a different schedule.

  This is hands down the best comic book store I have ever been to. They are so knowledgeable, and so incredibly nice. I'm new to comics, and they always make me feel welcome, and help answer all my questions. I can't say this for most other comic book stores I've been in. They have a fantastic selection, it's always neat and clean, and again--they are so nice. Definitely worth a visit. Don't just buy from Amazon. Go chat with these lovely people--you'll be glad you did.

  The kind of place you wish you had near you when you were young. Gib is a knowledgeable and friendly fellow and the staff seems to be a reflection of that. From handing out the occasional free book to a youngster on their first visit, to helping folks track down that hard to find title, this is the place to stop. Worth the visit.

  This is a lovely place. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the selection is good. They'll happily order stuff for you, and they're pretty committed to getting to know customers' names. The shop is also a hub for a bunch of local comics events.

  I have so much love for this shop. Knowledgeable, helpful staff that never give you the "geek-snob" vibe. LOVE to have new customers stop in looking for the latest hot book. Don't let comic shops intimidate you. This place can help you find what you are interested in. From what I've seen, they appear very female-friendly as well. They have several female employees.
