I surprised my husband with a mini vacation for his birthday. I set up a private dinner in our room and all the hotel staff literally helped me keep it a surprise. The front desk young lady is the Besthe tried to go back to the room when they where setting up an she had him call me to make sure he didn't ruin the surprise. The security helped bring the people decorating to the room and me a new key when we had an issue with ours. All of the staff was truly Exceptional attentive and just gave amazing service. I would 100% recommend especially if you prefer a more Attentive experience.

Service was great. Ladies at check- in on Thursday night were amazing, and all the staff was very friendly. Hotel is within walkable distance to basically everything. We were in town for a quick trip to see family. We were able to easily use parking meters out front (download the app) and saved on parking. Hotel has great vibe and feel. Architecture. Grand windows. Rooftop pool and bar. Coffee was good in the Cafe downstairs. The only thing lacking was better housekeeping. Mirrors and tables needed a good cleaning. Carpet had some stains and there was a full bar of used soap on the floor by our bathroom sink. Other reviews seem to mention the same. We would definitely still stay here again. We could have asked for a different room, but we checked in late and didn't really notice til morning.

Great hotel in a good location, and nice views from the rooftop with the pool. Rooms were nice and large. Streaming in the room worked great, just make sure use chrome because my normal browser wouldn't connect. Staff was all awesome and super friendly, from the valet, front desk, and wait staff. Sunday night was pretty busy for dinner and it seemed like they were short staffed, but the two ladies waiting were flying around the room and getting to everyone, they were awesome. Definitely will stay here again next time we're in town.

I totally feel like I underpaid for this stay! What a nice hotel with amazing historic properties. Loved the exposed ceilings and all of the Art Deco but modern touches. The security was an added bonus, all the elevators needed the key card to go up to the floors.
Beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was very clean. The large walk in showers were just exquisite! I will say that any modern hotel I've stayed in lacks hooks or bars in the bathroom. Only one hook and one bar in the bathroom.
Just so you know, there is no self parking included here. There are pay lots very close or street parking but the hotel only has Valet that was $30 a day. We parked on the street the first night on Sunday since it was free, but the city starts charging at 8am Monday. It's all by the Park mobile app which was easy to use.response / report this review -

Hotel is adjacent to a rough neighborhood but you’ll have that when you stay downtown in a large city. Hotel itself is gorgeous and all of the staff we met were incredibly kind and helpful. I wish I’d have gotten the valets name from when we checked out - he was amazing. He was super kind to our pups and helped my hubby load the truck so we could easily continue on our adventure. He also helped to check us out efficiently. We will definitely stay here again.
Our room was well thought out, with a huge shower in the bathroom. Beautiful furniture and a truly eclectic and welcoming vibe.response / report this review
