Food is great, the ambience is Lovely but they don't have restaurant 101 down, like serving entrees at the same time. At a place this nice there's no reasons that front and back of the house can't figure out how to time meals so that people can actually eat together. Also, no one should need to wait 15 minutes for a glass of wine.

Incredible food, cocktails and service. Cody was our waiter for the evening and he was extremely knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on the food and drinks, while being attentive and efficient. The venue itself has a good vibe. Recommend booking in advance if you don’t want to wait around. I will be telling everyone about our amazing experience!

One of the few modern gastronomic gems of Santa Barbara. Beautiful interior design with a casual seating masterpiece table as a centre for the floor. The food is designed to be shared (as all good food should be in my opinion) and conservative in portion so you can try a few, unlike most SB portions I've seen so far. Wonderfully rich flavours and quality produce, you'll need to book or wait for a table on most nights. Confidently welcoming spice and drier flavors, the cocktails are a must try.

Wow! I loved this experience. Their chefs really know how to combine flavors into the perfect bite! Some of the best food I had in Santa Barbara for sure! My favorite part was dessert! If you get there while the apple fritter is still on the menu, trust me, you will not regret it! Lovely atmosphere and great service as well

You better have a reservation here, but even waiting is worth it in any case. The food is amazing and presented extremly well. And if you get Melissa as your guide for the evening absolutly nothing can go wrong. She really enjoys what she is doing and you will feel that while she takes care of you.

My wife enjoys eating here. It is very busy. Small plates. Food is good and best part it is a few steps from Funk Zonefor tasting wine.

Absolutely amazing! Food, drinks, service, atmosphere were all top notch. Would go here again and again. Favorites were the wedge salad and the scallops (Oct 2017 menu). Sat outside on the side patio under the heater and it was perfect.

I was on the waiting list for 40 minutes. The hostess forgot about us although we were on the seating list. There were several tables available and we didn't get seated. I had to ask twice to get seated as she forgot again. The waiter took 10 minutes to tend us after we were seated, nurz

Tapas style restaurant. Great friendly staff. I'd recommend making reservations if you have a party larger than 4. (Even with 4) My personal favorite was the steak and brussels sprouts!

The Lark is a trendy place to have dinner and drinks. We stalked around waiting for a seat at the bar or communal table due to a 2.5 hour wait. Bar tenders were very nice and made good drinks and suggestions. Meals were served at different times which was less desirable. Management was also on their game as they calmly dealt with some snooty customers.

The food was spot on! I'm a "foody" and love to try different flavors, and I was impressed by every dish we had, the apps to the desert. I would highly recommend Larks to anyone looking for a great dinner and wonderful wait staff!

The food was good, the drinks tasty - but the glasses were not completely filled, it looked like some spilled them on the way out to be served to us. When asked about why it looked like there was part of the drink missing we got a shrug and told that all of the drinks are measured pours and don't fill the glass completely. Service was ok unfortunately, I won't be back.
