  The Lamp Shop is located in Troy, near El Sombrero on 25A. Look carefully, you don't want to miss it! They seem to have a variety of lamps available all of the time, but I think a large portion of their business is refurbishing vintage lighting. I got to peek in the back room, and there are hundreds (if not thousands) of glass globes, crystals, and floor lamps - stuff I remember my grandparents owning. A great resource for finding outdated switches and such too. They revamped a brass student lamp I had, adding brackets to hold glass globes. It looks amazing!

  these guys know their lamps, lighting, and all your brightening needs! They have a great variety and are honest. They can do custom work and repairs or you can buy stuff right off the floor!

  New location on 25A north of downtown Troy. Very friendly and accommodating. Had an antique slip-shade chandelier taken their for restoration. When I went to pick it up, you would have thought it was brand new. Excellent job and service; will be returning.
