  Huge dining room and for 45 minutes we were the only customers. The large choice of dishes made me think they must be using frozen food and sure enough when it arrived it was fresh from the microwave and virtually inedible. The waitress was pleasant enough and the wine passable. A glimpse of the "chef" on his way out in scruffy clothes and long hair was unnerving. The bar alongside seemed smelly and noisy. We didn't stay overnight and I am pretty glad we didn't. Avoid.

  The Lackawaxen Inn is known mostly for it's friendly local crowd and their great food. The Inn is a site to see being a short walk from The Roebling Bridge once used for canal boats that once traveled the area and the awesome clear view of the river right behind it. The Inn also sits right across from the now Stroudbridge line which offers scenic train rides.

  Easy to find. Nice bar area inside. Tiki bar outside. Pool table. Jukebox. Good food. Huge portions.

  Great place for a meal or an entire weekend. The views from the deck are incredible! The owners are genuinely nice people, and their staff is very friendly 😊
