I've been here to eat twice. Both times, the food WAS TERRIBLE!!! The first time, I tried the calamari. It was over-cooked. I didn't finish it. The next time, I figured a burger wouldn't be that hard to prepare. While the burger was cooked well, the 1/2 pound (or so) of salt on my burger destroyed whatever taste was there. When I said something to the bar-tender, he responded that the cooks do add some salt and simply left it at that. It's too bad seeing as they do have some worthy to listen to music some days, hence the 2 stars.
Tiny, classy, bar. Biz to casual dress. Oysters Rockefeller my fav. Bartender, manager Dan, great to talk to & takes care of biz elegantly.
Food was great the raw/fried oysters where outstanding service was great
Coming in during a thunderstorm to an old stomping ground ... excellent to see the old place and it still a great place.
Excellent choice for a pre flight meal. Our server was great and the food fantastic. We had an enjoyable evening and you will too. Thanks
Great beer and quality oysters. The oysters are a little pricey compared to others in the area, but locally sourced and fresh.
We sat at the bar. Great atmosphere. Good food and drink.
This is a great place to take the in-laws. Great service, well thought out beer menu, and interesting specials.
Nice decor, but food is just OK. Burger not high quality beef. Salad same as Costco and Ranch dressing is same as a fast food place. Overall quality of food was not good for high price.
We had a great experience from the moment we walked in and were greeted by Henry (amazing host; funny but formal), to when we discovered the happy hour oysters ($1 apiece instead of the usual $2), to when we were served our mains and each dish was perfectly prepared. All in all, I spent more than intended but would readily do it again.
Great food and some of the friendliest and knowledgeable staff anywhere. Dan knew his stuff, inside and out. Made great recommendations and explained the menu and beer list with surgeon-like precision. I'm already looking forward to returning.
