  I don't live very close to a Home Depot but I was in the area and had a gift card from X-Mas so I stopped in..I usually go to Lowes just because of the distance but I'd pick Home Depot over Lowes any day! GREAT customer service and much more to chose from item wise!

  Everything is relative, and relative to the Lowes monopoly over the mountain, this store kills it. The friendly staff takes the cake and the selection isn't bad. Home Depot honchos--please open a store in Charlottesville and end the tyranny of Lowes' bad attitudes and warped lumber. Competition is healthy.

  So when you are sent an email asking for a review about a product buy they dont like what u have to say? what happens!!?? They reject the review!! In their "guidelines" it doesnt include BAD customer service, non delivery of the product because its been rescheduled 2 times. I cant put a positive review on something wr may not even get!! So an FYI, just because you buy appliances they (the seller) is supposed to tell u that u may not recieve the delivery when you are supposed to. And DO NOT buy anything when its on sale!!!! Heaven forbid if you do and actually get it delivered in the same year!! It takes pure ignorance to ask someone for a review of a product when they wont deliver it. Home depot blames the manufacture and the manufacturer blames home depot. Piss poor!!!!!!

  This place deserves 5 stars- everyone is extremely friendly and helpful... even on Black Friday! They have better deals than Lowe’s sometimes, I usually cross check sales. We insulated our crawl space for about $100 cheaper on supplies here than at Lowe’s.

  The outrageously expensive range I ordered at full price through your online store was rescheduled for delivery not once but twice and arrived without an installation kit that wasn't even offered as an add-on accessory option at check out. I spent 1.5 hours of my life bouncing through various service departments only to be told that the cost of this issue would have to be eaten by the local store manager and his salespeople- NONE of whom had anything to do with the order. He could only offer me a $50 discount on the part, which came out of his pocket rather than the online system and word for word said that shopping online is a "buyer beware situation"- about his own company!!! This is terrible practice and I am appalled. I'm doing a major farmhouse renovation and adding a cabin to our property. You can rest assured that not once more cent on my money will be spent at your store which takes its online mistakes out on its in-store real live personnel. Disgusting.

  We don't have a Home Depot in our area, so we traveled to the one in Waynesboro. Everyone was so friendly, even staff that was just walking past us in the aisles. Patty in flooring helped us finalize our flooring needs. She was knowledgeable and very friendly, making us feel welcome. Then Blake was nice enough to help us load in into our van. He too was courteous and friendly. Good customer service needs to be recognized, and both Patty and Blake demonstrated this. I would definitely travel to this one again and recommend them to friends. and family.

  Went to Home Depot in Waynesboro, Va last night to look for a new fridge. We walked around looking at different models for at least 15 minutes. Do you know that not one person approached us to ask if we needed help. Nope, not one. Same thing happened when we went looking for carpeting there a few months ago. I don't really know why I bothered to go back thinking it would be different. They wonder why these stores don't make it. THIS IS WHY. So we went to Lowes. We looked a bit and were helped quickly and bought our fridge which will be delivered tomorrow. I wish I could have given it 1/2 star, but oh well.

  Dan was incredibly helpful and friendly. We recently bought our first home and the decision process has been quite timely while picking out the perfect paint colors--Dan's patience and expertise made the experience much less stressful.
