I asked an associate for help finding a few items and they were more then willing to help me. They knew exactly where the items were that I was looking for and it was a wonderful experience.

They are nice to you when they sell you something but if said appliance comes broken as mine did, they could care less about helping you. I bought a brand new washer and dryer and didn't use it right away due to being out of town. First time I used it, it leaked all over the floor. After making sure it was properly hooked up, I ran it again and it leaked yet again, confirming it was the washer itself. I called Home Depot right away and they promised me a call back no later than next morning. A call never came. I called them at 12:30 and "we were just about to call you" just to be told that they need to send a third party to do a service call since I exceeded the "48 hour refusal window". So they actually expect you to do a load of wash while the delivery guy waits in order for you to determine if both the washer and dryer work? I think paying $1600+ should be reason enough to honor providing your customer with a WORKING appliance out of the box. They also lied and told me the company who would do the service call could recommend replacement which was yet another lie they tell you because the service company told me they only tell you that so you don't complain to them but they expect them to fix only. They don't take recommendations. So basically they sell you a refurbished washer at the price of brand new and have no customer service concern for you whatsoever once they have your money. I will be telling everyone I know NOT to go to Home Depot, especially this location, if this is the standard way you are treated and pushed aside. You should be ashamed of yourself.

For years home Depot has honored my husband's veterans card today we are told that he couldn't use it. We will never shop at home Depot again and will be sure to let all the people we know, including veterans associations in our area.

Today was the worst service at home depot. A gentleman had to cut trim boards at 6ft. He cut them at 5'11". I looked all over the store for an employee to help find a breaker. Finally had to go to service desk and ask for help back there. Go to check out to find they were wrong size board. Cashier trid for 10 minutes on phone to het someone to cut right size trim. Then it took them another 25 minutes to do it. To top it all off im assuming the girl that originally was checking us out when on break. Another young gentleman took over. When i finally got the trim brought up this gentleman seen me standing to check out turned back around to his computer he was just reading on and ignored me. The original girl showed back up looked towards him in disgust. She was very pleasant and checked me out. Hope this doesnt ever happen again because we do plenty of business there.

Let me start by saying that when in the store, all the employees are very nice but like so many people working jobs like this they are not truly engaged in their work.

We have rented Penske rental trucks twice via Home Depot. We will never do it again. I will drive to another town to find a U-Haul dealer before I subject myself to the poor process this company has with this rental company. It takes a minimum of an hour to check a truck out or in and that is with an already made reservation. No one ever seems to know the process and the one person that does is also doing two other jobs so you wait until they happen to remember that you are still standing there for a reason. And, they just don't seem to care that they do not know what they are doing.

My next complaint revolves around ordering appliances. After much research and talking to the appliance employees, I ordered a whirlpool stove and refrigerator on the home depot website. I received confirmation of my order via email with my phone, address and the order correct. The delivery day was also on the confirmation.

Turns out whoever processed the order never pulled the fridge order and they keyed in my telephone number incorrectly so the company that actually makes the delivery, GE, could not contact me to confirm the delivery. I called Home Depot the day before (because I had not heard anything about the delivery for the next day) and learned that they contract with GE for delivery. Once I was able to get GE's number and spoke with them it was late in the day the day before the delivery date. During my multiple conversations with Home Depot and GE employees where I repeated my order of the two appliances to several people, no one ever said the fridge order was not on the actual order. The day of the delivery, I still had not spoken with the delivery driver, but they just showed up. They said they never got the fridge order. Those two gentleman where very nice, the installation of the gas range went fine. So then I called Home Depot and spoke with John at the Pro Desk who was completely useless also. I gave him all the information and he claimed he would look into it and call me back. Never heard a word back. I'm done. Lowe's is much better and will continue to be my big box store when needed.

Sku numbers not in the system, took 20 mins. for clerk to find something at right price. If we really did not need the item would have walked out. HD needs better customer service. Can not have customers standing around waiting to get the computer to work.

You can never ever ever get anyone to help you get, lift, carry or unload anything. I have purchased countless materials here (renovated 2 houses & landscaped both). Last year one of the associates in the garden center actually took our flatbed cart that we were attempting to load ten 24x24 cement pavers on. This Thurs I bought 2 carts full of stuff in the garden center & couldn't get a soul to help reach things on the top shelves or to help get it all to my vehicle. As usual- I unloaded it myself & pulled my back out (I heard & felt a pop when I lifted the heavy pavers). I could barely sit to drive home. So, I have spent 3 days in bed laying on ice packs & taking ibuprofen & Tylenol every 6hrs. I can finally stand & walk today without being hunched over. Thanks alot Home Depot for ruining my holiday weekend. I think after a decade of dealing with this- I will drive the extra miles & go to Lowes in Warren.

Pleasant staff (esp. Jessica at checkout), good seasonal selections, fairly knowledgeable staff. I only ran into one man who blocked off an isle for moving overhead objects and never bothered to remove the tape when done. I say knowledgeable staff because you cannot treat them all as though they are licensed carpenters or plumbers, even when you expect them to be.
