Disappointed with the outcome today! I love shopping at home depot and I have always had great service. Today I walked in to exchange a Pre-Lit Christmas tree that was an exchange for one that didn't last but one season. This one lasted one season also as the lights died out! Go back to home depot and the manager on duty felt my disappointment she also explained that there is a 90 day return policy! It's a Christmas tree.... It goes up for 3 weeks..... then gets packaged up and stored. So I'm offered a discount to purchase a new tree. But it's still a lot to swallow and pay for. I understand today's society people are always trying to scam, but I was only trying to exchange for something that didn't last for the money I paid!
Thanks a lot Home Depot!!!!!
Wanted to purchase a storm door and I literally walked the entire store until I had to ask if anyone was working in the department? The employee at the service desk that I asked for help proceeded to get on the phone for about 5 minutes and told me to walk back to the department and someone would meet me there. I said Thank you and promptly left.
I asked for help and the two associates said they would send someone. After standing there for 15 minutes I decided to find someone again, then i saw the two associates sitting on a shelf talking about their weekend plans. I understand if they forgot because they were busy, but this was a Wednesday night and they were more associates then customers in the place. I feel now that because I am not a contractor or handyman and I asked a basic question I do not deserve the assistantance from these workers.
Very strange Home Depot. Most of the staff can't be bothered with questions. They stand around in groups chatting with each other. No one ever seems to know where anything is. Two weeks ago I went in to buy a screen door. The lady at the desk in that area told me she would not help get a door from an upper shelf because they are all junk like the one's on the lower shelf. A month ago I went in to by deck screws and was berated by one the staff for not living on the nice side of town like he does. Telling the help desk gets a shrug. The Home Depot by the mall has much more helpful staff.
Typical big box store, but the staff here is very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and very nice
Very helpful once I found help. Had go to service desk to page someone. Need more staff in departments
I will definitely come back to this store and purchase my other appliances and it's all because of Tosha Brooks..she made my purchase easy and stress-free..the world would be a better place if people treated other people like she she treated me..you rock Tosha..
Great experience. I didn't have to wait for service and the sales person was very helpful and informative.
I went in to purchase the Pizza Peel. It was available just ask the associate told me on the phone that it would be. I stopped to use the bathroom before I made my purchase. The bathroom was nice and clean it smelled sanitized. I proceeded to check out. The cashier was very welcoming and she readily assisted me to make my purchase. I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes total. This allowed me to be on time for work. Thank you Home Depot for such a pleasant shopping experience. I will truly shop at the Shorewood location again!
Close place to get all my home needs.
I am furious! I went to buy a Christmas tree and was pleased to see a sign that said 20% off all artificial trees thru today. I give you one star because I had two extremely helpful workers who demonstrated the tree and put box in my cart. (Otherwise I would have given 0 stars!)
The tree rang up the marked price $215.20. No place was it marked that the trees were already marked down or an original price. The sign and the workers both said 20% off. The cashier called Mike the supervisor who said $215 was the sale price (he didn't even bother to come talk to me!)
$42 is no small matter to me! I bought the stupid tree, but believe me Menards and Lowe's has found a new customer!
Do NOT EVER use Home Depot to install any project in your home. Nothing but problems from installers breaking our countertop to forgetting pieces for an install and not returning for 3 days.
Good local Home Depot - they are always helpful and know EXACTLY what isle has what!
Friendly staff and decent selection. Small enough for a quick trip.
