The Guayabera Lady offers a variety of the "Traditional Garment" for the entire family.

These are actually guayaberas from The Guayabera Lady! There are many variations from the "legitimate one." What is legitimate, the fact that the Guayabera originated in my home town of Sancti-Spiritus, Las Villas, Cuba. The fact that it was only done in fine linens and extremely expensive, making this timeless piece accessible to only a select few. With time, its beauty, comfort and style has become a "must have" garment for all. Men, women, children and....even the four legged family members! We custom make in linens, cottons, silks, etc. In our off the rack collection, we also have an array of colors and styles! For you see, Guayaberas, are not for grandpas anymore! So, we evolve with the times without losing its authenticity! Besitos, Blessings & Smokealicious Ashes! Www.theguayaberalady.com #CAWordOfTheWeek

History
Established in 2003.
...Berta R. Bravo moved to the United States with her family from Cuba as a young child. In 2003. At the age of 47, Ms. Bravo began selling Guayaberas from the trunk of her car where she earned the nickname "The Guayabera Lady." She opened her first shop in Coral Gables and incorporated in 2005. As the company grew it became necessary in 2012 to acquire larger facilities which include a showroom, distribution center, and administrative offices. Today we designs, manufacture, wholesale, and retails classic Guayabera apparel and accessories serving the international market space. The basic Guayabera is a beautifully crafted four pocket shirt, with intricate pleading details in the front and the back of the shirt. Ms. Bravo reinterprets the Tropical Lifestyle with a new and innovative approach by redefining its elegance and style which is embraced by both tradition and new generations.
