  We stopped at this clean restaurant on the way to the Villages today
  The service was a bit slow
  But the food was Amazing! And reasonable
  My husband had a half pound fresh burger and fries for 8.95
  I ordered the grilled chicken plate and was surprised it came with two huge perfectly grilled chicken breast. Juicy not dry. A baked potatoe And sauteed zucchini squash
  The vegetables were delectable!
  Even his pickle was good
  We were fighting over it
  They do have a lunch buffet but we missed it by 20 mins(ends at 3pm)
  And seafood buffet at 5pm
  Must try this place

  The restaurant itself is clean and the staff are absolutely wonderful, everyone is happy and the service is excellent! However everything that we ordered was either undercooked (the tater tot casserole and the French fries) or extremely over cooked (the chicken, the stir fry and the rice) everything was extremely bland and this is the only buffet I have left to go to McDonald's

  Easy, basic and bountiful buffet with a open dining ambiance. Restaraunt has conventional appearance and theming with a nice wall painted mural outside. The menu has a variety of offerings, typical of what you would find at most restaurants. Our party had a menu order and buffet order. Despite the buffet looking small it has a decent amount of items that are sure to cover most hungry palettes. Next visit will result in two buffet orders. Food itself is pretty decent depending on preference. Overall price and value was fair and probably one of the best in the area.

  Great local buffet. Excellent fried and baked chicken. Great creamed corn and mashed. Steak well well done almost to a crisp. The only clunker. Homemade cobbler and bread pudding. All for 9.95. hard to beat and great post church people watching too.

  We made a great decision when we decided to eat lunch here when traveling to Tampa. Best green beans ever! (Yes, I like catsup on them!) The restaurant was very clean. The buffet food was hot and the salad bar was cold, as they should be. Pleasant staff too. The Gathering Table gets a top rating from us.

  Well what i had was super Delicious , i heard the fried chicken was superb too but i love that salad bar i was off the change. The tuna was delicious i mean delicious. I'll eat there again and bring a guest. Ya The Gathering Table is what's happening.

  Friend purchased a Thanksgiving dinner picked up 9am arrived at my home 12 pm food was still warm . There was so much food and all of it perfect. It was a wonderfully relaxing day thanks to Gathering Table and my friends it was a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Good food good friends and no stress .

  Food was down home delicious. True soul food, with recipes passed down, cook was awesome. Miss Cindy gave exceptional service. Definitely worth the drive.

  Waitress was very nice, but knew nothing about the menu. After bringing our dinners she said "I'll get your soup and salad now". We had to ask for everything - spoon to eat soup, butter for sweet potato that wasn't hot to start with and so cold butter didn't begin to melt. I wasn't paying attention and my next bite consisted of a lump of butter. Everything was very salty. Just traveling through, most customers must just have the buffet it looked good.

  The Gathering Table breakfast buffet hits the spot EVERY TIME! Whenever traveling through the town of Chiefland, it is "THE" place to stop and eat. Top Notch food. Hard-working staff. I love this place. I believe you will too.

  This is a good family restaurant. They have a different buffet every day(very good seafood on Friday as well as all you can eat prime rib). Full menu is also available. We often come here for special holidays.

  Love love love this place. I have a seafood allergy and they have diff fryers to ensure I can eat what I want when I want. Love this!

  Use to be great loved going here now their breakfast almost doubled price from 6.00 to 10.00 and we waited for our waitress for 20 mins before she finally came to take our order and see what we wanted to drink there was only a couple of other customers there then waited our whole meal for refill my husband got up to get his own drink
