Oh man I love this place and so does my kids. It has some amazing features and when your done it is nice and cozy next to the beach so you can either take a walk on a beautiful beach or take a swim.

Kids always have fun. Sometimes I just go for the Gift Shop. Walking along the boardwalk is so calming with the beautiful scenery, could be romantic with the right person.

For our small family, we enjoyed it. They gave an insightful view of the local aquatic sea life. I learned a few things myself. Met a few species of fish I didn't know lived in the gulf. Yes it is small place but, with alot of information.
The gift shop was cute with local art and not to over priced.
Considering all the over priced tourists traps in the region, this place was reasonable. I would recommend this place for small kiddos.

Loved it!! Myself and a coworker took 2 of the Special needs folks we work with to Gulf Shores for the week. This was part of our trip. Staff were very nice and helpful, and it was very informative. They really enjoyed it.

I took my daughter London for her first time and she loves it. Great for a 2 year old. A lot of hands on experience for children. Great service.

Our family enjoyed the hands on atmosphere. We missed the manta ray feeding but were still able to touch them in the the tank. We visited on a day when they fed the fish in the 3 large tanks, so we got to experience that. We also got to see one of the snakes being fed up close. The staff member explained the the snake was a bit under weight, so it was being fed seperate from the others in the tank. Nice to see that level of care and attention. Small place, very educational.

This is a great way to spend 1-2 hours on Dauphin Island. Both adults and kids will get a crash course on the unique qualities of an estuary. In addition to aquariums and glass tanks with the environments that occur in the area, there are several hands on exhibits to get even closer to nature. It's small, with zero filler space, so it's easy to keep track of little ones.

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Estuarium is a nice informative place to visit if you are already doing something in Dauphin Island and just need something to add to the list. It is very small and unless you read and check out every single exhibit You will likely breeze through it in about 30 minutes at most. They do have two touch pools for a hands on experience And there are several Aquatic Species that I have never seen before. Over all it was an interesting place to visit and learn about the Alabama Gulf Coast water life. Just don't go in with the expectations of it being a huge aquarium type attraction.

Not as good as the Tennessee Aquarium but I gave it 5 stars because I loved it I believe that they have done a very good job on the information that they try to share and something that the Tennessee Aquarium does not have a repeat they do not have this so I hope the Tennessee Aquarium will listen up they have Hands-On exhibits not many but they have them

This is a jewel of Dauphin Island and also for the State of Alabama. Many of our surrounding Universities, and local commerce rely on their infrastructure of research and commitment to the Gulf Coast's marine resources.

We took the family today:) we had a nice time. It seems to be a bit pricey because it's rather small. We still had a good time and we watched dolphins off the pier before we left!

Absolutely love this place. I hadn't been in awhile and decided to go for a Sunday Funday as I love, love, love Dauphin Island. The Estuarium is small but packs a fair amount for the size of it. Has three main tanks offering all kinds of insight to the fish varieties surrounding our area. Also has a bunch of mini tanks with all different kinds of other sea creatures from an Octopus to Lionfish to the bizarre like a frogfish. They even have hands on exhibits where you can physically touch horseshoe crabs and other little creatures. They even have a tank outside that has a couple different varieties of Stingrays! Another note is that if you plan if right you can watch live feedings of all the big tanks and stingrays. This place is very insightful to our waters that surround our area and offers a glimpse of what we might otherwise not see. Everyone should see this place at least once. One of the many things to do on the Island.
