Delightful inn setting . No longer B&B but such a sweet place to stay. Almost like home but no kitchen access . Walking distance to everything in town.

We loved our stay at the Cedars Inn in the Carolina Cottage. Comfy bed, nicely redone bathroom, the air conditioning works well, the cottage is nice and private. We would definitely stay here again.

(From Michelle, Sara's Mom) As I walked up the front steps of the Cedar Inn restaraunt last week, I was prepared to be turned away since I had not made reservations. I was wrong. I was welcomed as I were family they hadn't seen in a long while. The couple that took it over as of April 1, 2017 the Chef and his fiancé, have an innate talent for people & palets that are honestly indescribable. The entree was exquisite, the atmosphere was comfort on a level I didn't know existed. The Chef insisted I try one of their dessert shooters - I pictured what it would be - I was so wrong. Decadent doesn't do it justice. It's a culinary experience I'd never had & returned the next night with my husband who stated 'Man, everything was spot on! Thank you for bringing me here.' I was going to keep it as my little secrets, but couldn't - it wouldn't be fair to anyone. When you go & walk through the doors, get ready for one of the greatest experiences you'll ever have.

A charming gem of a fine dining restaurant across from the water in a lovely old two-story house. The food is always fresh and original, never had a miss, in both quality and presentation.
    Short but well-rounded wine list.
The setting is quiet enough for an intimate dinner or a private business conversation, which is hard to find in many of the local restaurants that tend to be on the noisy side. There are rooms upstairs as well, though haven't had an opportunity to stay there. We have had well-traveled clients lodged there and they were charmed and happy.
