Community is in a great location hidden from the main road and adjacent to a private community subdivision. All and All a fantastic and unique location with landscape. Rocking Southern Charm Dedicated Staff. Beautiful Gated Community. Spectacular Salt Water Pool w/multiple BBQ spaces. Pet Park. Great Neighbors.
Please don't take my word for it go in and meet the team members and you too will see for yourself this community is just great. Also, has the best prices in town.

This place is built terribly. It looks great from the outside, but on the inside this place is falling apart. I have water leaking through my ceiling and when I called maintenance, they came in and painted over the leak as if that would stop it. They also boast pest service that we are forced to pay monthly for, but there are bugs everywhere. Also, management is a joke. There are three people here leading the front office, but each one has different rules. If you have a question, be sure to ask all of them, because they're completely contradictory and the one getting punished for following one person's advice is the resident. According to people that have lived here for 5+ years, it used to be amazing and nice, but those same people are also breaking their leases early this time around to move elsewhere. If you decide to move here, walk around and ask the current residents what they think, they'll probably tell you to go elsewhere. This place is ridiculous.

I have lived at The Carlyle for two years and I have always received the most professional customer service from all the staff. The property is beautiful and it's centrally located to all that Savannah has to offer. I'm proud to call The Carlyle at Godley Station my home.

My husband and have been at the Carlyle for three years, and we have experienced wonderful and consistent customer service from the staff, especially the assistance manager, Rebecca Wickman.

She has shown superb professionalism and kindness to everyone I have seen and spoken too about her. My husband and I enjoy staying here and we appreciate the promptness and service provided by the maintenance staff. I wish that everyone here could have the same experience thastcee have had too.

The assistant manager, Rebecca Hickman and manager, Debbie Ramos have always shown respect and courtesy too all occupants.

We enjoy and appreciate them both, as well as the maintenance staff, Thank for performing you responsibility with the upmost respect and dignity.

I wish I would’ve read these reviews before moving in to this apartment. I have lived at many homes and apartments in many different cities and this has by far been the work experience I’ve had. The staff in the office changes every two weeks so nobody knows anybody or has any answers. The lady in charge of the establishment always hides in her office and is never “available” when there’s a problem. The two or three times I’ve seen her out of the office, she has always had RBF and a stuck-up, snobby attitude and speaks very rudely to everyone. Next, there is a major issue with parking. Countless times I’ve had to almost park on the other side of the complex because there are so many cars parked in residents parking and on the curb that I could never park near my building. The dumpster is always full and trash piles up around it. I can smell the decaying garbage around the complex. The “gated community” claim is such a joke. The gates have been operation for maybe two weekends out of the entire time I’ve been here. Additionally, there is no inter-office communication. They lost the paperwork for my dogs and claimed that I never filled it out even though the only useful person in the office that had just returned from maternity leave was standing there telling her it was already handled. Last but not least, the rate increases are astronomical! They say it’s based off some percentage but I find that hard to believe when you’re hiking rates almost $100/month unless you extend your lease for more than a year. This place is a joke and your money would be better spent somewhere else. And if all of this isn’t enough, read the other reviews and then notice the same replies from the “JGM representative” that copies and pasted the same response to everyone. It is clear that these people Do Not care about any of the residents.

This complex apparently doesn't know that Georgia has an aggressive dog law Should really look into it when one of your residents own two very aggressive dogs which she can not control and have tried to attack me multiple times.

I was getting ready to place my name on my boyfriends lease seeing as I moved in with him. $50 for a background check I was okay with (clear back ground clearly) but once I seen the trash piled so high and not in the dump I was instantly grossed Or and asked him why he pays over $1,000 a month for an apartment that allows that! Let alone the gates NEVER work! Is my car really safe? My household items really safe? No. Of course not! Can you work overnights and be on lower floors? You got it nope again!! We've called the cops multiple times on our rude neighbors (loud from 8am to 2am none stop). I've never seen such poor management in my life, everywhere I have lived I've had a great experience! But once we had to call the cops (office said to) then we are told the cops can't do anything the office must take care of it (they don't!!!) we've decided it's better to NOT live here. House hunting is terrible but a better choice! Don't live here, avoid the waste of $1,000 is you can! I don't fell sorry for anyone who does move in without reading reviews! I also have a picture saved else where of this disgusting trash pile.

Let me add that neighbors need to control their German Shepard that have tried to attack not just me but my boyfriend as well because the lady can not control them!!! She even leaves them on the belcony were they jump at you through the "wood" and aggressively bark!!!! No one should have to have that fear that they're gonna be attacked by TWO dogs because the owner can't handle them

I set everything up for my friend who moved here from out of state. To begin with the lease terms were incorrect. The lease was drawn for 18 months when we were told 9 months. Rent was $130 more per month on the lease papers then we were told when we filled out applications and were basically told take it or leave it. We both were told it would be corrected, three months later the lease is still incorrect and when you ask the office staff what is going on they reply with, " I don't know, ill get back to you." This has happened at least 20 times And you guessed it right, they never get back to you.

They are quick to say you have not paid your rent when in fact they have already cashed your check but you now have to print out bank statements showing its been paid.

There is no noise control. Upstairs neighbors party all throughout the night waking up the lower floors and nothing is done. Cops were called for same neighbors for domestic issues but they still live there.

The gates are open 90% of the day which makes no sense if your paying to live in a gated complex. Needless to say the office staff is clueless and does not and will not correct issues when brought to their attention. I'm assuming the same goes for the property management company as no one has corrected the issues and the reviews continue to pile up. I would suggest moving somewhere else as this place is not worth the money.

Lacking customer service. Temps work here that don't have answers and don't know anything. They take a message and no one returns your call. The gated community gates never work. Parking is a huge issue in the front building. There's not enough parking spots for 1 building let alone 2. The negatives greatly outweigh the positives.

It only gets a one star because I have to put a star to comment. PUT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE. This place is a joke. They actually care more about having a dog, than they do of my car being broken into. REGARDLESS OF WHO IT WAS BY. They said well you think your car was keyed and tires deflated by your ex, so.. and!? Still means you can do something! Absolutely pitiful. Even the so called manager.. "well we don't have cameras and we can't stop crime. So sorry."

This is the second time there has been issues with my car. The people in the office don't care about you and obviously know nothing about what they are doing. In it for the money. I have NOTHING good to say about this place other than the fact that the building is nice, BUT everything else is not worth it. It's expensive and they always try to find a reason to charge you extra money. Absolutely ridiculous. Won't be extending my lease, and counting down the days til I'm out of it!
