So, whether you're biking, skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling or just sightseeing, there's always something fun to do.....

We're sticklers for ensuring that your stay is the best it can be. From complimentary beverages and helpful area information to the best darn hospitality in the Big Hole Valley. You can even see real cattle drives in Spring/Fall right from the lobby!

  Hunters - try something new and cool. Stay at the Bunkhouse, enjoy warm cozy beds, hot showers, lots of story telling and hot coffee ready as you wake up to hunt at the early crack of dawn. Go hunting only to return to a waiting hot shower and ice cold beer....stories everywhere of the daily hunt. Got a group? Check out our Awesome Bunkhouse (very popular with past hunters and fishermen). This is a more convenient and efficient way to spend your time hunting rather than rou...ghing it (although we love doing that too), you can focus on relaxing without the stress of packing up the tents and camp/cook gear. Missing a night under the Montana stars next to a camp fire??? We got you set.....Rick will make you an awesome crackling campfire right on the property. We also have a laundry facility so you can wash your uh.. “seasoned clothes”. Be fresh and clean for the drive home (your love will thank you for it 😊) Check Us Out!!!

  Get your Montana Play On! Come join us at this exciting speed skiing event...... Fast and Furious cowboy style. Wisdom, MT is a quick drive from the Bunkhouse Hotel where you can warm up and take in our 107 yr old rustic cowboy atmosphere. As always Rick, Tammy and Carly will be there pouring a great selection of beer and wine at the Har-Bar-Lou Hooch shack. 😁 Come join in on the Fun!

  Hey Everyone ~ we would like to give "cheers" to all of our 2017 summer guests (whether cyclist, hikers, tourists, Montana's hard working fire fighters or those just passing thru). We are wrapping up the summer and getting ready for the Fall Hunting Season. However, our doors are always open to anyone wishing to stay in our 107 yrs old, very unique and cool cowboy hotel. A definate bucket list for many.

  For all you Hot Springs enthusiasts. Whether for medicinal purpose or just for R&R fun, we have many very cool hot springs around. Why not take a few days to go visit them all. Be sure to stop by and visit us on your way thru....we might share other hidden springs w you.

  Almost finished.... Loving our new bistro patio for our guests to enjoy time relaxing up to a ice cold beer, glass of wine all the while taking in Montana's Big Hole beautiful scenery. Maybe its time for you to take a little R & R?

  We just refreshed the Bunkhouse room with new buckskin walls and brand new bedding. Perfect addition to the already exciting bar (seats 12) and lounge/tv area. If you are traveling with a group or wanna experience a high end youth hostel setting ...the Bunkhouse is sure to please. Now catering to Fishermen and women, cyclist on Trans America/Trans Continental route and CDT Cont Divide hikers. Ps we have the Post Office in our hotel so....if you need to ship supplies while in route...send to the Bunkhouse Hotel ico your name and it'll be waiting for you when you arrive.

  Fly Fishermen....Get your play on!!! Nothin' greater than dipping your worm (or fly) in The Big Hole...river or area nearby lakes. The Big Hole us know for its Trophy fishery and one if the Nations last native Artic Grayling runs. Anyone who know fly fishing mecca....knows the Big Hole fishing is something to experience once in your lifetime. Come get your "fish on" then stay at The Bunkhouse where you can get a hot shower, drink a cold beer or glass of wine to settle in and share your fishing stories. Local Rose's Cantina is just next door for delicious food. Get up at the crack of dawn...and do it all over again! We host to indv up to big fishing party. Come sooner than later...we won't dissappoint!!!

  The grass us growing, sun is out, baby cows born in abundance and fly fishing has just began. The Sandhill Crane has returned to the Big Hole Valley so a great time to bird watch (maybe Tammy can teach you to speak crane and get the males all riled up...its a hoot!!)

  Ski Joring Weekend is here!!! Snow is Awesome and everyone worked really hard to make an incredibly cool course. Come out y'all and watch. Did l forget to mention the Bunkhouse Hotel is hosting the first time ever "hooch shack" (beer garden) w a heated wall tent so... stop by and tell Rick and Tammy hi! Ohhhhh Yeahhh! It's gonna be a great weekend in The Big Hole!!! Montana Style ~ 😀
