Friendly staff and has a great selection of WVU Items and has fair prices too. Will be stopping here mext time I pass through.
Staff was really great with fixing a slight mix-up with my order. They have everything you need for class and then some.
Great place for students to get books for school. The staff is very friendly and are there to help you find the right supplies for the upcoming year. Would highly recommend buying your supplies for school here.
Great selection of clothes and super friendly staff.
Awful is the best way to describe my experiences at the book exchange. I purchased a hardcover book from them that ended up being wrong (the ordered the wrong set of books for the class), went back in and was convinced that if I traded it in to them I would get a refund. Once the new books came in I was forced to pay $20 more. Management was unwilling to stand by their promise and unwilling to admit the mistake. Trust me, save yourself the time and money and walk down to Book GHolders. Book Holders has the best deals in town and the employees are very friendly and polite.
Book Exchange may be better than the WVU store, but it is still a horrendous price for books, I felt I was a bit taken advantage of as a freshman, paying $500 for books and "online codes". Then these books become an "old edition" after one year and are worthless. Book exchange normally won't take half the books I have, and if they do, the buyback price is like maybe $5. I learned quickly just to order/sell online.
I felt that the service was poor-fair because they treat you like a criminal. I know it is to prevent shoplifting, but they already have the textbooks "locked" away in another room and I do not understand why they cannot get the traditional scanners at the exit of their store instead of treating everyone as if they will shoplift. Most of us just want to shop! The prices are fair although I have found better.
