Nice needs some updating. The grounds and pool are nice. The beds were comfortable and rooms were very large.

Was not there during season. Not a lot to do on the island. $6.00 charge every time you go back on the island

Great room, excellent location. Would recommend. However, go at a time when all of the restaurants and other amenities are available!

I was very impressed with the staff and room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very well put together, it was absolutely the beach room I would have expected. We checked in 45 minutes before check in time, waited for pillow cases to be dry but was very impressed that we were accommodated so quickly. Also, I could tell the linens and towels were fresh and clean. Staff was very very nice and I could tell they wanted us to have a great stay. The only thing I would recommend is the password for WiFi to be in the room since we had absolutely no cell service. Will most definitely stay again. Keep up the good work!

DO NOT STAY HERE. POTENTIAL BED BUGS. We stayed at the Boca Grande the weekend of April 21-23, 2017 and got bed bugs. When I told the attendant the room most likely had bed bugs, he yelled at us and said we were lying. While this hotel might be cheaper than staying at the Gasparilla Inn, it is not worth getting bed bugs. STAY AWAY

Awesome room - comfortable, luxury style bed! Everyone at the Resort was so pleasant - a great atmosphere and very quiet. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was their restaurant for dinner had only been open for 2 weeks and they don't quite have the menu down.... the breakfast cafe had only been open for the 2nd day - a lot of folks standing around anxiously waiting to provide service - & we were the only ones their ordering... unfortunately our to go order was pretty bad - forgot hash browns completely on one order & with the other order they were burnt & inedible. I'm sure they'll do fine with time, but it was frustrating! Overall, it was a great place to stay & we would definitely recommend it and plan to go back!

Ketchup and mustard packets for shampoo and conditioner, worst quality soap, lots of posted signs about fines, if you want a beach towel go buy one, a beach chair go buy one, and fines makes you feel very unwelcome. We had to drive back over the bridge to find a 24 hour convenience store for real soap, waters, and snacks as nothin was open and water tasted like chlorine from the tap. We expected resort level customer service, pool was dirty, felt more like a motel 6 with resort interior design. Likely this was owned by an American family at one point in time and they set out to meet all the traditional standards, but foreigners have clearly taken over the business and downgraded the entire establishment.

I stayed at the Boca Grande resort for 4 days. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious. The ammentities were clean and top shelf. The kids were able to swim in the private pool located right next to our room.
The resort also has a restaurant on site which offers breakfast lunch and dinner . I have to say the pizza was the best I HAD EVER EATEN!!! The bar on site has live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The local "Boca band had the place rocking . Overall our vacation at the Boca Grande resort was five stars and would recommend staying there to all our friends and family.
