I had a wonderful experience here. My bartender Eden was knowledgeable about the beer options, and offered great conversation. I also met Daniel and he offered great conversation.

Any type of person would feel welcomed and accommodated. They have fare for all tastes, screens with anything you would want to watch, and both bar seething and more intimate settings if you want a quieter experience. They also have pool tables.

This is my second time coming to this place, took my parents and friends for a relaxed night. My parents and a friend of mine went out for a cigarette (we were inside already, at the table, and eating what we ordered), telling the security guys that they were just going to do that and then they’ll be going inside to finish their meal and pay. After they finished their cig wanted to come inside and the security staff made a HUGE deal that my dad didn’t have his license on hand. One of the security guys was even disrespecting the fact that my dad doesn’t speak English.
I had fun the first time, I was having fun this second time, and our waitress was a charm; but what this Security guy did to us just made us leave the place immediately and with no desire of coming back ever again.response / report this review -

Thank you for the great food and excellent service. After being turned away at an establishment closing early we found this place a little down the same room. My wattress had a trainee and they were both excellent the food and beverages came prompt. I'd be a regular if I lived in asheville.

Have been coming to Bier Garden for more than five years. Usually have a great time here, no hassle. I guess that they may have a need for extra security lately, so I understand the patdown at the entrance, and that's fine. However, tonight the second security guy doing hand stamps roughly put his hand on my shoulder and shoved me because I guess I approached quickly? I usually love this place but really don't appreciate being accosted. Probably won't be coming back, but have to note that bar and wait staff was excellent as usual.

Sports bar vibe with an insanely long beer list. Great place to watch a game or just chill with a few friends. Wasn't a bad spot but not my favorite downtown.

The food is amazing. The drinks are even better. I don't know his name but there is a bartender with a beard who makes the best drinks! I won't let anyone else make mine.
