We are a global community of believers who are committed to knowing the Truth, believing and testifying of the Truth in boldness and living by the Truth. We exist to help humanity overcome deception by shaping people's beliefs about God, about themselves, and about others.When The Believers Avenue started, we knew that the Lord was sending us to reach the world with the gospel, and to disciple people to be like Christ. So we started trying to understand the state of the people that we had been sent to reach with the gospel and what their problem really was, and how we could help them with the gospel.So, we started trying to understand most of the many religious and non-religious beliefs there are in the world and why those many different beliefs. It became clear to us that if the Truth is one, then so many people are living in deception and yet don't even know it or care to know.We checked the Bible to understand what could be the reason for such great deception in the world and to our surprise, the reason was clearly written in Genesis 3 and we hadn't paid much attention to it. God's conversation with mankind and the devil, the only time that happened, revealed that the devil deceived Eve, sin occurred as written in 1 Timothy 2:14 and there was the fall which lead to this corrupted world.But how could this deception happen? Clearly, Eve had a mind that received the information from the devil and a heart that accepted the lies and influenced her actions. Jeremiah 17:9 AMP tells us, "The heart is deceitful above all things And it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives?"To us, this outward deceiver (the devil) and inward deceiver (self or the heart) is what we think is humanity's greatest and oldest enemy which we seek to help humanity overcome and live by love.
