Free dog bath after boarding for a few days. They just recently extended their Sunday pickup hours which is also convenient. They have a doggie swimming pool with toys. We love watching the YouTube videos they upload when Sammy goes to daycare. He always seems like he had a great time and of course is always EXHAUSTED when we pick him up.

This place did not smell clean and I stunck of dog urine after leaving from only walking through the facility as a tour to potentally have them watch my dog. Initially staff were absent and I needed to call them on my phone to get someone to arrive at the front desk. I did not feel that this place would be an acceptabe facility to care for my two dogs while I leave town on a business trip for a week.

They are great with my Sheppard. He was as shy as they come but since coming here he's been so much better around people and other dogs. Highly recommended!

The Barking Dog in Hooksett is AMAZING!!! The staff is wonderful and attentive and they all belong in the world of dogs. The groomers are also amazing and we've boarded here twice and our dog was well taken care of with many options and play time. They have so much to offer, not only boarding, day-care, grooming, baths but also pool time year round. Our dog gets so much energy out she's dead tired when she gets home.

The Barking Dog is a very professional, well up kept facility. I have been bringing my dog there for quite some time and i have been very impressed. The staff treat my dog as one of their own. The staff can not be any more friendly and inviting. I HIGHLY recommend people to take their dogs here.

Can you give a 0? I highly recommend staying away from the dishonest, deceitful company that the barking dog is. Today marked the last straw for me and my dog Theodore. While I always thought grooming here was weird (with no real schedule) I was told it is a first come first serve environment. Because of this I always ensure I am the first in line so my pup won't sit in a crate for extended times. This particular morning I arrived bright and early. Went through the typical hoopla and they asked what I would like to do after his grooming. I had a few package days left for daycare, I decided to use one (even though they charge you a full package day for only half of a day of daycare). When I said that they said they do not have his updated vaccines. I told them we just received them but no problem, I will just pick him up when he is done (I work from home anyways). They said Oh no they will call our vet and check and send him to daycare. I said if they have any trouble just call me to which they agreed. All seemed good so I went with it.

Now it is 4:30 (9 hours later) and I come to pick him up. That is when I hear whispering amongst the front staff (do we tell him we didn't get the vaccines?) This is when I pipe up and say, "you didn't get the vaccines? Why did you not call me? Has he been in a crate all day?" They say yes he has been in a crate all day and now I am very upset. I tell the young woman, I know it is not your fault but thank you for the heads up, could I please speak with a manager. She obliges and out comes the manager who was clearly having a bad day. I tell her the story and say I think it is ridiculous. While the $$ is not a problem for me I expected some sort of heart felt apology. I mean doggie day care is in reality a free service (it doesn't cost them any more for 1 dog vs 100 dogs) I assumed they would say next daycare day is on us or we will give you a discount on your grooming. Nothing. Not an apology nothing. When I say I don't feel I should pay for my full grooming she says well we won't charge you for daycare. Charge me for daycare? are you kidding me. Of course you wont charge me for daycare because my poor dog has been in a crate all day long not in daycare. You are not doing me a service by not charging me for it because he didn't attend. Knowing this is going nowhere I just ask to pay. She asks me for my number and tells me she will call me after she speaks with the staff. Call me for what? To tell me you spoke with them. What does that do for me. You already messed up and won't even apologize. As a small business owner myself, I know how you treat your clients is paramount. The best thing you can do is admit your faults and move forward. Barking dog thinks they are too good to even apologize. It is astonishing that they are even in business. In addition, Did you know that your dog isn't even in daycare all day? They spend more time in a crate when you are paying for them to be playing with other dogs. Seriously, their schedule is ridiculous. Stay away from these ungrateful people.

Both of my dogs love them. I have boarded my cats here many times and my dogs twice. Groomers are terrific.

You pay for the display. Would you go to a baker who enjoys working with his hands for heart surgery? Then why would you bring your dog to completely incompetent and uneducated minimum wage earners who like to be around dogs? Clueless, classless and completely unqualified simpletons detrimental to your dog's well being.

Piss poor workers. Arrived 5 mins before they closed and the doors were locked. Walked my mom's dog to the daycare section only to have the doors locked and the workers laugh. When you say you close at 6pm but lock the doors before is piss poor. You are required to stay open till 6pm if that's what your site states. I will never recommend you to anyone!

I have been taking my dog here for over a year now and they are fantastic! I love that you can buy a package of days and you can use them whenever you need them; they don't expire. It's also really convenient that they can give my dog a bath while she is at day care. All of the employees that I have met are really genuinely nice people and are really good with dogs.
