This is the most expensive school in south florida. Its for a reason, these people that run this school are only their for the money. Bad environment, this place will leave you in tremendous debt and no job after school is done.

I recommend not going to this school! The statistics they gave you seems promising, but taught me useless stuff that I can't even use in the real job environment. Please avoid this school at all cost!

My experience at Ai has been very rewarding. Great staff and I have learned a lot and still learning. I will continue my culinary education with this school.

In 1988 I smoked pot with a teacher who hosted a party at his apartment in Dania. 5 stars for fun factor. 0 stars for educational factor

Well, a lot has probably changed since I been here in 2010-2011. My experience here was good, however the classes seemed too much like a walk in the park. Like maybe you are paying more for the school and not getting much in return.
The staff and everyone are very friendly and I liked being around similar like-minded people. If you are to go here make the most out of your education.

The Art Institute is a AWFUL! Their financial aid is definitely a SCAM! And their curriculum is a joke. In the first class we did only 3 projects which were equivalent to creating a business card. This waste of time will cost you $1500. The people in their financial aid department are rude as well - - and this was before even beginning class and further wasting my time. Also, they will turn you in to collections within 90 days after beginning an appeal process to dispute charges with them. No legitimate institution is that quick to chase your money! Unless they are only after your money. TAKE THE ADVICE OF THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS AND MYSELF AND FIND ANOTHER, LEGITIMATE INSTITUTION TO ATTEND.

The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale is an expensive private school. I was planning on going to go to this school for 'Game Design', but after looking at the prices and disadvantages of going to this school, I switched paths and doing something a little bit better. For the degree I was 'going' to go for would be around $100,000 for 4 years for a Bachelors Degree. Disadvantages? You don't get special holidays off, you spend years just in school, no days off, no breaks nothing. Oh and did I mention that the credits don't transfer.

After I came to my agreement I couldn't go with this school because with the stress that the school will give students need breaks and also transferable credits would be nice just in case if I didn't like the school I was able to switch schools maybe like to Full Sail in Orlando.
