I volunteered here for miracle on the 7th street event and its a great place for kids to learn interactively and engage.
Great place to take the kids for a few hours! Plenty of activities.
We like to save this destination for rainy days when you buy a ticket for yourself and the kids to get in its good for the day so we go in the early afternoon till the kids are hungry then we just walk down the road to eat then we like to go back to finish anything they kids want before going home.
The exhibits were great and interactive but a little cramped. But my son still loved it
Great spot to spend a few hours learning and goofing off with your kids. There's even a toddler play area for younger ones and nobody seemed to mind when I played too. The price is right and the exhibits are fun, quirky, and creative.
We came with 4 kids and 4 adults and it was amazing! Even our 1.5 year old had so much fun! The reason we give -1 is because there were a lot of buttons that were not working (for example the sound effects in the racecar) but there were no signs. For the kids it probably doesn't matter, but the adults noticed. Side note: the bathrooms are clean fun. We had a great time!
The kids I watch at 14 and 12, and we all have fun at the museum. We went in the early afternoon and didn't have to fight for space to play with the various exhibits. We had the most fun at the water table. The kids said they prefer Terre Haute's Children Museum over the Indianapolis one because there are more things to touch and do, it's never super crowded, busy, or loud, and there's a froyo place next door!
Great place for kids. Just wish they could change up the exhibits once in awhile.
Fun little museum with lots for kids to do. Fun to spend a half a day to a day here. Also, your kids might learn a little too!
Great place to keep the kids happy and learn some stuff at the same time. Not as big as the Indy Children's museum, but still worth checking out.
Wow! Highly impressive. Stayed here for a couple of hours and the kids and adults were equally entertained.
This place is amazing for our 3 kiddos (6,4,2). We drive an hour and a half to get here (which there are other children's museums within this driving distance)but over the past year this one has really stole our heart. The staff is so friendly, kind and courteous and actually interact with the kids (after all it is a children's museum). It's takes us around 3 hours to get through the entire museum (3 stories)fun, educational and an all around great time for all our kids.
