Cashier (elderly lady with gray/white hair) would not accept my VA id for military discount. Seems that the fact I am a Vietnam veteran with combat disbliities does not matter. Manager did finally give me the discount, but will think long and hard about returning. They need to update their employees way of thinking.

Nice looking store with a variety of tools and supplies. Not as big as Lowe's or Home Depot, but if you want to support small businesses in your area, this is a good place to come. Most should find what they need here.

Always a friendly employee available to help. Easy to find what I need and I'm in and out in no time. So much more convenient than the larger stores.

I do enjoy purchasing merchandise from small businesses other than bigger businesses but in this case I went to Taylors to buy a Stihl blower and during my demo out back the blower kept going into a high then low power on its own, salesman said it needs to be warn in and once I ran it a few times it would go away. Welp here I am a month later after 3 or 4 uses and it still does it. I would have swapped it out that day but it was the only model in stock left for purchase. I went back up there before 30 days and they wanted to send it out for repair. Well sorry I just spent over $300 I would like one that works properly out of the box. It is what it is now. I work 60 plus hours a week and don't have the time to be running around getting my blower repaired. I personal will not be giving this Taylors Do It Center my business anymore

This place would probably be a good place to go, as long as you are not female minority The employees (as well as the customers) will treat you like a second class citizen if you are. Not to mention they have a horrible selection, bad prices and the place looks like a pig sty. Go somewhere else.
