SyntheCore Studio is a new Boutique Fitness Studio offering the true, classical Pilates method & Yoga. Located in the Spring Branch area of Houston, SyntheCore classes are focused on correct form, injury prevention, core & posture improvement and sports conditioning.
Yoga classes, Pilates Mat classes, as well as Pilates apparatus classes (Groups of 3- 6 ppl.) Pilates Reformer & Pilates Tower classes. Private sessions & duet sessions are also offered.
Eco-responsible studio with non-toxic mats, bamboo floor, recycled foam yoga blocks, FLOR carpeting and Seventh Generation cleaning products used.
Teaching clients how to live free of pain and healthy by understanding how to correctly align their body through strengthening their core has been Michelle's passion for over 20 years. The method Joe Pilates developed over 70 years ago was a work of genius. Michelle's training in the Pilates Method began as a young ballerina studying at North Carolina School of the Arts and continued with in-depth training of over 600 hours while living in New York City with Jennifer Kries. After teaching in NYC for years, Michelle moved to Los Angeles where she taught for 7 years at Mari Winsor's studio. Now in Houston, Michelle has opened up her own space and honors the classical method.
Teaching young athletes how to keep their bodies injury free is also a passion. Michelle incorporates Yoga into her kid's classes, as well as stretching and Pilates.
