We started Swimming with a Mission, Inc. because we needed to do something! We are frustrated and concerned that our Veterans are being treated so poorly. Our Veterans and their families have given so much and for some, made the ultimate sacrifice. Our Veterans deserve more. We live in the land of the free and the home of the brave BECAUSE of the brave. We believe that we need to do more and so this is what we are doing. We hope that you will join us on this mission to help and honor our Veterans.

This organization combine our most fundamental passions. Veterans, Lake living and swimming. What a joy to be able to bring a significant event to the Lakes Region, to showcase the cleanest lake in the Northeast of the United States, that we have been enjoying for more than 30 years. To inspire swimmers and volunteers to join us in a an open water swim across Newfound Lake. To be inspired by the best in class, our quiet heroes that walk amongst us, led by the US Navy SEALs.

We are so grateful that our first 3 years were such a great success and are grateful to all of the swimmers, donors, sponsors, volunteers and participants who helped make this Mission victorious! We have an incredible board, advisors and swim committee that are working hard to make year 4 even better. Please join us to do something!
