The Sweet Shoppe Cafe & Bakery has been a staple in historic downtown St. Paul, Nebraska for over 20 years. Starting in a building that seated only 12 patrons, the Sweet Shoppe has grown to accommodate over 200 guests and offers a full breakfast and lunch menu, including a daily buffet.

Alice Osterman and her daughter Kaleena Smith, along with the help of their family serve the community of St. Paul good food in a familiar and friendly environment.

The Sweet Shoppe is also known as The Cookie Jar Place due to it's ever-growing collection of novelty cookie jars that line the walls of the restaurant. Over 1300 cookies jars, of all different shapes and sizes, can be found at the Sweet Shoppe!
