  My husband and I have been wanting to visit Sweet Lula’s for a while now and finally made it there tonight. Now we are kicking ourselves that we haven’t visited sooner!!!! The food was absolutely phenomenal, hands-down best BYOB in the area! However, what really makes this place shine is the one-of-a-kind experience you get dining there. The chef, Anthony, came to our table to ask us about the food and personally recommended a dessert to us. Lula sang while we dined, which was beautiful, entertaining and fun. And their daughter was our friendly and knowledgeable server, who helped us through the menu and gave us some background on the restaurant. Tonight was our first visit and they made us feel like regulars. We’ll definitely be back!!

  The food was really really yummy but it did seem somewhat over priced-the cost of dining on Broadway in Pitman I guess. The staff were friendly and attentive and I thought it was nice that the chef personally came out to ask how our meals were at the end of the night. Tonight was our first time here because when we've tried before they were not open - so do call ahead. Overall it was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend trying.

  I had a birthday dinner for my brother here tonight. I ordered the spinach and garlic ravioli. Our waitress was already advised that I did not consume milk products prior to my entree being served. My entree came out I taste the entree and immediately notice that it had cheese. I asked the waitress did the entree have cheese she replied, "No!" Then I asked her to confirm with the chef of the ingredients she comes back to say, "Oh sorry there is cheese in the ravioli!" Now I'm sitting here extremely ill because I'm vegan and all you say is sorry! Needless to say I'll NEVER be back again! If you don't know what's in the food that's being served theb maybe you shouldn't be the one that's serving it. Make sure you ask what's in your food if you are allergic or on a very special diet!

  Did not even have the chance to visit because they do not uphold their posted business hours. Their website hours say 5pm-til for dinner, and Groupon says 5pm-midnight. Tried to visit at 8pm for dinner and was told by the hostess they were closed and that the chef had just gone home. Not acceptable in my eyes to close on a whim when it is convenient for the chef or owner. Glad we were not coming from a long distance.

  Our FAVORITE place for semi-formal dining in Uptown Pitman. Always fresh, always friendly service. And the bread pudding is TO DIE FOR.

  We went here for mother's day with a party of 8. Our meals, the apps and even the kids food was AMAZING! I highly recommend this restaurant!

  Tonight is the third time I've eaten here and unfortunately my experiences have been progressively worse. Ordered the pasta with crab and shrimp only to find three shrimp, no crab, and what tasted like sauce from a jar. The remainder of my party was also let down. We expected more quality and quantity of food for the prices.

  I don't know how there's only 18 reviews so far - this place is great and combines dinner with entertainment and the food is great. Perfect for a date, a special event and anything celebratory. Way too much fun to eat solo or for a business date.
  
  The food here is perfect. The owners are friendly and outgoing. This place serves a better plate than many five star restaurants.
