  Thoroughly enjoyed the pie tasting last weekend, which have us a plate full of 7 be slices of different pies (I can't wait for the next poor tasting). Also bought a fresh whole wheat sourdough bread, nom nom it was so delicious lightly toasted with butter melted into all the nooks and crannies. Oh gosh, guess I'll be heading there again this weekend (more please!)

  When in the area, I always stop by for quiche, granola and a delicious sandwich. Simply THEE best!

  This place is one awesome find. They have of the best breakfast sandwich I've ever tried. Cinnamon rolls is really good also, but you must eat it warmed up. As for the workers there, they're very attentive and very cheery.

  We visited Sweet Elena's so much when we lived in Monterey. Delicious food/drinks and wonderful people. My fave was brie/tomato on baguette and a double mocha.
  
  Soups are wonderful especially if you happen to catch carrot. I love/miss the welcoming open atmosphere, the display of brilliant pieces by local artists and
  interaction with the community was amazing.
  
  Miss it so much! I retired from Air Force and moved to San Diego County where they have gems but nothing like Sweet Elena's. We'll be sure to stop by though if in the area for sure!
  
  OH! Can't forget the granola, pies and star cookies that my daughter loves are Amazing. She even has King cakes for Spanish Reyes, Mardis Gras and other various holidays!! Can't wait to visit.

  I've only sampled the delicious pastries but the food items smelled and looked great! I will have to go back and try!! It's worth your time to at least visit!!

  A wonderful little spot for delicious food with locally roasted coffee. They do pie tastings around Thanksgiving every year!
