Eclectic menu consisting of classic American food, Asian inspired dishes, and Mexican. All were outstanding. Service was very friendly. Prices were very reasonable especially considering the huge size of the portions.

Good food, decent service, good location, assuming it's not a Friday night between April and October. Those nights it gets dicier (because of Escondido's Cruisin' Grand nights). The back patio is nicer than the front but people (like me) enjoy watching the pedestrians and the less noisy traffic.
Strong breakfast location. If the French Bakery is full up, Swamis is, well, not so much an alternative because it's probably full too. A good choice.response / report this review -

Had gone here before right after it took over 150 Grand and wasn't inpressed. Today; impressed. Great food and our waiter Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Lots of healthy food options.

Family of 4 wait was 20 minutes to be seated. Quick on the drink order and delivery. It was quick to order the food, but it took 30 minutes to get silverware, 32 minutes to get half the order and 37 minutes to get the other half. 28 minutes into waiting they brought complimentry fruit. I also asked for sugar free syrup for my pancake and they dusted my pancake with powder sugar. It's a okay place to sit down with a group to chat, but as a family it's to long for kids to wait.

Excellent service. Michael served me and my girlfriend for a last meal before I leave state and his recommendations were good, best fries I've ever had (sweet or regular). The tea was simple but refreshing. I had a problem with my iced latte but Swami's made sure I left happy. The atmosphere is unusual in a good way, you choose between green outside, a surfer indoor greenhouse feel (still cool on a hot day), a bar, or classy indoor atmosphere. Plenty of vegan&vegetarian options. Clean, comfortable, and not too pricey either. Swami's, if you read this, you really need to improve your coffee beverages. Would have ruined my experience if not for Michael.

We had a late lunch at 2 pm here on a weekday. Nearby French cafe closed asst 2 pm so we opted to come here and we were glad. Huge burgers with choice of French fritters, sweet potato fries or fruits. Outdoor seating were available but we opted for air conditioned inside. Our server was friendly and efficient.

Where do I begin! Only been to this location twice and both times have been great! Service is always good and fast. The menu is full of great options and you just want to order everything!
Parking is the only downside of this location. I'm not from that area so I don't know if there is a parking structure around but it's all just street parking.response / report this review -

I met some friends there, expecting to have a Great night at Swami's, like we used to, 2 years ago. Instead, we had horrible service, every drink we ordered was wrong, I don't even know if the Bartender knew English. Then, our food came & was just bad, a grilled cheese & ham sandwich, only had ham, no cheese? And my friend's clam chowder came ice cold ? Then I asked to speak with the Manager, and he refused to talk to me because he was the one doing the cooking. They need a new Manager & Good Bartenders! We want Swami's to stay, but not if it's like this. They need a Bartender like Brian was, and need to find a Mgr that can handle this.

I love this place. I've never had a bad dish, and the staff know EVERYBODY by name if you've been there more than a few times. The prices are reasonable and the pho is always HOT!! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Was a little disappointed with our visit. I had very high hopes for this place. The food was delicious but the service was lacking so bad. We ordered our drinks first (coffee and water) ,then ordered food after a few minutes. Food came out after about 10 min no drinks. Server came back to check on us halfway through the meal and realized he forgot our drinks. Didn't say sorry just asked if we still wanted them. not the best & probably will only give it 1 more try to see if it's better the second time.

I want to love this place. It's clean and well decorated and the food is really really good. The menu has a variety of healthy options but PLEASE doing something about your staff!!!!!!!! The hostess and the female bartender are so unprofessional. At a minimum make sure all your staff members are well identified (uniform or matching t-shirts) and have a presentable appearance. some of them look like the just rolled out of bed after drinking all night. There is no reason this place should be packed everyday.
