Quality material at very reasonable prices. I am especially impressed by the availability of species you rarely see elsewhere: madrone, Oregon white oak, juniper, big leaf maple, and tanbark oak, among others. We live in the middle of these beautiful wood species - why are they not on every woodworker's bench? This is where to find them!

Went here for the first time today. Amazing selection, great prices, and fantastic customer service. I would encourage anyone looking for live edge slabs, tongue and groove, butcher block, framing lumber, or really any other wood products to go here first. It is my new favorite store in Portland.

I have personally purchased over $20,000 dollars of Oregon White Oak, Big Leaf Maple, and Madrone hardwood, live edge slabs, Madrone butcher block, Juniper landscape timbers, plywood, and dimensional wood products from SNW Wood over the last six years.

Could not recommend this company enough. We ordered VG Doug Fir for a T&G ceiling we're doing. Our installers repeatedly asked incredulously where we got such high quality wood. So the wood quality was awesome. But then the price was below what one would pay for inferior wood from a chain.
And at the outset, owner Ryan and his crew were a pleasure to work with. When I needed expedited shipping, Ryan made sure I got the wood in a day, lining up a driver through the night. For that, yes, I had to pay, but just having that service was another bright spot.
