MY COMPANY HISTORY
The Need - In 2008, I identified a need – several non-profit organizations that I was involved with needed custom websites. With the support of my family, I set out to learn what it would take to design quality custom websites to meet these needs.
positive exposure My success in these initial projects brought my efforts in front of small businesses who were experiencing similar needs for both graphic design and website development.
Market Development - In 2010, I began to do graphic design work for Hunter Douglas in their pilot Design Center Program. This association brought me into contact with many business owners in the Home Fashion and Interior Design industries. This program also gave me opportunities to research and share information about the emerging growth of Social Media Marketing through seminar speaking.
product expertise 2010 was also the year I began to develop websites using the WordPress.org CMS (Content Management System) and Catalyst (framework). Both of these products have enabled me to create secure custom websites with all the functionality that my clients need.
Company Growth - In 2012 my growing client base necessitated a growth in my talent resources as well. There are three assistants that now work for Susan Leinen Design on a part time basis.
ABOUT SUSAN
My interest in art started at a young age and I’ve filled up sketchbook after sketchbook with drawings, ideas and observations about life. On any given day, I’d like nothing better than to drop everything and head outside with my sketchbook and pens.
I delight in the beauty that God has made and marvel at both the grandeur and the intricate detail it contains. Of course dropping everything to sketch doesn’t happen too often as I am now often at the keyboard of the computer and creating with pixels instead of pens. Design, development and brand creation is both challenging and enjoyable for me; the best part is creating something that helps my clients succeed in their businesses.
By doing all things to the glory of God, I am rewarded by work that represents my values and brings satisfaction to my clients and to myself.
