WiFi is terrible hardly works, rooms seem to have been remodeled but still found a single bed bug in one of the rooms we were staying in, would suggest going to layfayette for a hotel if your looking for a good nights sleep, don’t even look at the sunset inn next door if you think this place is scary that place is even worse!

We booked online 2 weeks in advance. (Beware of the date when you book. We assumed dates would stay the same moving through the parent site and they did not). All hotels in the area were full for college graduation and conference track meets. Linda, the clerk at the Super 8 was fantastic! She worked hard to help find us a room, calling other places and trying to help. After a bit, she was able to move things around and place us in a room at the Super 8. We were very appreciative. Small town caring matters.
Rooms are clean and updated. Lobby is cozy and staff friendly. Good bang for the buck.response / report this review -

It was a decent motel, however there was no fan in our bathroom and the blankets werent very soft. Room was organized pretty nicely and we had a refrigerator and microwave. Not much at the continental breakfast, but overall it wasnt bad

Rooms were nice and clean with no issues. The hotel seemed to be in the middle of a remodel with some trim and other pieces lying around. The side entry door had no security card access and was simply unlocked. That seemed out of the ordinary and might be a concern for some people. It might have bothered us more, but we were exhausted from a long day and a few hours of driving so we were more than ready to just get some sleep. The bed was not that comfortable but we slept fine. It was right off the highway so very easy to get to and back on afterwards. Staff that we interacted with were friendly.

Went to stay but they wouldn't accept cash unless they were allowed to HOLD ON TO my credit card during the duration of my stay for incidentals. I asked if I could just have them hold onto cash instead and he told me it would be $300. Yeah.. no way Mr. angry foreign man who can't speaka the English. No way. Went up the road to the comfort inn and it was amazing. Annnnnd they let me pay with cash! Crazy huh?

Unless it's your only choice and you only want to shower, sleep, then leave. Renovating so room is in nice shape. Mine had lots of space, could use a couch, had a fridge no microwave. Water from faucet due to the construction or front desk said the water heater, turned the water orange with metal flakes. I like good options for breakfast, this place doesn't. I don't get why places can't have peanut butter, only jelly or syrup. No eggs, why not?? Take the fridge n minimal breakfast it's a overpriced motel 6
