School seems like a very nice daycare but will be very quick to try to diagnose your child with something and also try to holding them back. Mainly seen this issue with kids of a Minority. Once switching to a different daycare I haven’t had any problems with accidents, keeping his clothes together, or even as much fussiness or temper tantrums and is learning so much more! Also all the problems that they said was wrong hasn’t been a problem with this new daycare! Lacking a lot in the education department of the daycare, was definitely concerned if my son was going to be ready for kindergarten in the fall but now with this new daycare I know he will! The teachers are very sweet and very caring but if you have a African American child I highly Suggest you stay away! this is not to bad mouth this daycare but to bring awareness because I am not the only mother with a child of a different minority that has had this problem with this particular daycare! Our kids deserve to feel safe and loved and learn too!💜
Very bad staff. Every day something inconvenient happens since week 1 on August till now. My daughter clothes are missing and they didn’t care about it. Also, during activities such as painting, kids paint on their clothes and hands!! They’re not very clean. Some teachers are not honest. They tell us something and then tell the manager something else! as a parent, I pay a lot of money for them to take well care of my child and to treat us in professional way with good manners, but they are not professional. A week ago my child was bitten and hurt very badly around two teachers in the classroom, they didn’t pay attention of the kids! And they didn’t even apologize! They treated me with no respect. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
We had our 2 girls enrolled in the Sunshine house location on Perennial drive after our other daycare closed for Covid. After about a month and a half, we found sunshine house as they were re-opening after a Covid shutdown and they were able to take both of our girls. IT was a truly wonderful experience. Our girls really enjoyed going to daycare every day. The staff was very professional and very reassuring about all of the Covid measures that they were taking to help keep everyone at the facility safe. The thing that really set Sunshine house apart for us (and why a wish there was a 6th star) is how quickly they reacted to the PSD closures. Our oldest was supposed to start Kindergarten this August, but PSD could not figure out how to do in person classes, and would instead do 'remote learning.' This was very difficult for our family and my wife and I are both essential employees in manufacturing. Sunshine house quickly adjusted to this news and will be offering an on-line learning Pod for Kindergarten aged kids! Thank you guys for showing how nimble your entire organization is, and really stepping up after the public school districts really dropped the ball!
Sunshine House at Fort Collins is wonderful place. They are really good. Teachers bonding with kids are excellent. Other staff members are always helpful. All of them are familiar with all kids and their parents. They are very supportive if your kid needs special support. Always ready to provide additional resources.
Sunshine House in Fort Collins is AMAZING! The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are always happy to chat with me about how my kids are doing and answer any questions I may have for them. Additionally, the facility is very clean which is reassuring since my little ones still crawls on the floor sometimes. Overall, I am happy with the way the facility is managed and with the attentiveness of the staff. I would absolutely recommend Sunshine House to anyone who needs excellent child care.
