Wish I could give 5 stars. But sixty nine bucks just to drive to house even though I used them and paid full price for service is not right.
And extra cost $50, because they had to go into basement to accomplish same result. Overall they were here slightly over an hour (2 men). They did tell me the price ahead of time except for the additional to go downstairs. On a good note they were very nice.

A couple days ago my furnace stopped working, I called sunset and they were out the next morning at 8am. After some troubleshooting they determined my furnace was on repair and were able to install a brand new more efficient furnace for me the same day. They were very professional and did amazing work. I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing work done. The installed a new water heater for me a couple years ago as well. I've never had an issue with the work that they've done!

I recently had John and Dave replace my toilet, repair a broken shower pipe located behind a wall, and install a bubbler drainage system. I am extremely happy with all the work they did. They were professional and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I will not hesitate to call them again for any future projects. If you are looking for a plumber that you can rely on and will give you a fair price John and Dave are the people to call.

Finally !! A service company you can TRUST ! Arrived exactly on time and started to work immediately. The owner of the company and his son were nothing more than 100% professional. Having a sewer line replaced is not anything that anyone looks forward too but Sunset put my mind at ease knowing everything was getting fixed correctly. I can’t be happier knowing they were honest about repairs and did not try to “ upsell” for unnecessary repairs. To me, that is one of the most important aspects of hiring people to do repairs. I had a few estimates done before choosing Sunset and they were extremely more than reasonable in the price I was charged. I will definitely have the company back to do any other plumbing or heating needs that I may have. A++ service, attitude and honesty. If you choose someone other than Sunset Heating and Plumbing, you are making a big mistake.

My husband and I bought a new dryer after ours stopped working and my husband broke our shut off valveI called sunset and it took them no time at all to get Here! So fast and pleasant to deal with! My furnace stopped working. John and Dave were at my house in about 20 minutes. John and and Dave are very knowledgeable and skilled. They seemed genuinely interested in helping rather than just making a profit. Their maintenance fees are also very reasonable.

John and Dave are knowledgable, friendly, and customer-oriented. My wife and I just bought a house and we needed a new furnace and wanted to add an air conditioner. They listened to what we wanted and found the right size air conditioner for our house. The 30 year-old furnace was taken out and the air conditioner was added to the side of the house, and we didn't have to do a thing. They finished both jobs quickly without sacrificing quality. Their prices are competitive too, so there's nothing else we could have wanted. Personally, I like to like the people I hire, and John and Dave were very straight forward and informative when I asked them questions. Seriously, go with these guys and you won't regret it.

These guys have done multiple jobs in my home - new furnace, new toilets, new hot water tank, leak repairs, and today was a new sump pump. They are great people who are highly skilled and use high quality equipment. They are very efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Back in the fall of 2009, as new homeowners of a house built in 1986, my wife and I were suddenly and quite unexpectedly faced with knee-deep water in the basement that was rapidly rising. I called Sunset Plumbing and spoke with John about our problem, which to us that day seemed it may prove insurmountable. John was a Godsend. He came immediately to our house during a crisis flood situation in our basement.

Though we feared there would be no solution, John installed a temporary pump to empty the basement of the water. He was then thoughtful enough to diagnose a long-term deficiency in our sump pump system that ultimately led to the Town of Clarence extending and installing a new storm sewer connection for our house, which amazingly never existed, much to our astonishment!

John gave us excellent recommendations as to which Town officials we would need to engage and got us started on a contracting plan to connect our 4 sump pumps to the main storm sewer. He also supplied expert advice and service for our grinder pump system and made sure to caulk and seal all of the plumbing he installed.

John is exceptionally hard-working, insightful, experienced, and meticulous. We couldn't have been more pleased with his work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and Sunset to others needing the highest quality plumbing services! Particularly if they are faced, like us, with a crisis situation.
